I had a nail in a trailer tire that I allowed JB Tire to patch. I watched as the repairman removed tire by hand. I observed the repairman hit wheel with tool and made him aware that I saw him hit wheel. Wheel was placed on trailer without testing for leaks after I requested it be tested. I didn’t make it 200 miles down the road and “patch failed”. After replacing tire, as I expected the wheel was damaged around the seal from where I observed it being hit with the tool. I contacted JB tire immediately was told to bring wheel and tire by , afterwards owner refused to show video of incident that he claims is all recorded. A shabby job ended up costing me more money and time, not to mention the safety risk I was put in having to change a tire that was repaired improperly. I would not recommend JB tire. A 35$ flat repair turned into 420$ to replace a wheel and good tire(16xply purchased in Feb maybe 20k miles) Owner told me he “ did me a favor by even “fixing” my flat because he normally only works on big trucks.” I wish he would have turned me away!
