Took my Tahoe here to get my front pads replaced. I was told the front pads were connected to the “electrical system” and that the sensors would also have to be replaced. Long story short, I was told it would take about a hour and a half max. I spent almost 5 hours there and ended up Bering home and back to the shop only to find my truck still not ready. By this point I was annoyed and out of $50 for Ubers. The Mechanic told me he was having an issue clearing the “service brake assist” message. Right before the shop was closing, the message magically cleared. I now know that the message was just dismissed on the dashboard just to get me out of the shop because when I turn my car on not even 15 minutes later, the message reappeared, which means they did not properly clear the code so I’m going to take it to the Chevy dealership. The mechanic did give me a discount, but this doesn’t make up for the poor Customer Service that I experienced; especially having to go outside to keep asking the mechanic for updates because no one seemed to know what was going on. Will never return.
