2012 Ford Transit transmission rebuilt in a couple of weeks. Referred by a friend and it was just what I needed. Towed to the shop, diagnosed in a few days. Polite professional service. Still running great after 5 years
View on GoogleWas skeptical b/c of location, and lack of communication. Dropped vehicle for radiator repair, never heard a word until it was ready at 5pm, same day. There was a difference in verbal quote and actual price of $50, but still a great deal. Thanks for such timely service and overall great experience from Da Hood. I had heard the place was good and it is. Would recommend anybody with any make vehicle, if you looking for a fair price and good service for auto repairs. 4.7 stars Update 5/6/21 I am now a loyal customer to Dwight’s Transmission. Always great service and a fair price. This is my third visit. Very friendly, and professional owner and employees. Will keep your vehicle running like new. I got new struts.
View on GoogleThis shop is awesome. Dwight & his crew checked out my daughter's car & would . do work that wasn't needed. I commend them for this. Two other shops wanted to put in a new transmission costing $6000.00 to $7000.00, but when Dwight checked the car out, none of the codes pointed to needing a new transmission. Now that's an honest mechanic & honest businessman. The work he did on my daughter's car cost us around $400.00. What a big difference! I highly recommend Dwight's Transmission if you want honesty. He was referred to us by someone whose entire family has used him for years. Also, our Uber driver said her family & friends have used Dwight's Transmission for over 15 years.

Due to crazy times and manufacturers' lack of parts, and availability (back ordered) some parts took a few days to get.. which is/was understandable.. Not Dwight Trans. fault, But overall quality, price, and repairs were great ..
View on GoogleThe first time I use his service he was referred to us by another mechanic that didn't do the work that my son's car needed. After receiving astronomical prices for what was needed to fix my son Cadillac. Dwight fix the problem for way less than quotes I previously received. He is honest, reliable & quick with service. I referred my husband to him he drop his truck off Monday & Dwight fix the problem on Tuesday. As of today my son Honda is being repaired by Dwight Transmission. I can honestly say he is our family go to mechanic. I will happily refer him to anyone looking for a honest & reasonable mechanic.
