I walked in one recent afternoon cold off the street as my transmission died in my SUV near the shop. They mentioned if I could drop it they could start that day. I agreed and a few days later I had it back, running great. They even notified me of a potential catastrophic failure that could be avoided by a minor maintenance procedure. I’m so glad I found this place. It really is difficult finding a good shop!
View on GoogleAlways a great help. I have an older model vehicle and they really take care of it. They understand how to fix things keeping cost in mind. I really appreciate them taking the time to determine the issues and get them corrected. They even gave us a loaner car since our was in the shop a while. Really appreciate all the help, we have been a customer for many years across many vehicles.
View on GoogleMy experience with Downtown automotive was great from start to finish! They are truly knowledgeable about everything and keep you in the loop of all the work on your car. Edwin walked me through exactly what my car needed to be fixed & provide me with many options while giving me great advice. I will definitely be back!!
View on GoogleI have been going to Downtown Automotive for 15yrs. Any time I have had an issue with my cars, they promptly identify the issue and provide a reasonable quote to efficiently resolve the problem! I highly recommend them for their diverse knowledge of a variety of cars, old and new. They are honest, long-time Montrose locals and very professional!!
View on GoogleI needed my splash guard reattached because some clips had come loose. Downtown Automotive was really accommodating. I brought some clips from Autozone and they said they’d give me a call when they had a free moment to work on my car. Brought my car in and they clipped the splash guard on free of charge, all in 30 minutes. Really kind and genuine people, I would definitely trust them with any future repairs!
