Did a great job. Took longer than estimated but that was due to shipping issues with the part. He gave me the option of getting it sooner but at a much higher cost. I really appreciate that. Most mechanics would have just raised the bill and ordered it. Very honest and good pricing. Earned my business for life.
View on GoogleHad my transmission rebuilt by him in 2014. I noticed my truck made a tapping noise, the exhaust manifold gasket weren’t replaced apparently after removing part of the exhaust system. Two months after, the u-joints at the differential failed and essentially destroyed my driveshaft, someone at the shop failed to notice they might have needed replacement after the transmission rebuild and removal of the driveshaft is my guess. Went back with the problem, left my truck at his shop while I had to go searching for a new driveshaft AND new u-joints which David graciously offered to replace for me for $80. Next issue two years later, transmission pan started to leak, went to the shop with my problem, was told because the gasket was cork, I asked David if he could fix the issue, was told he didn’t have room in his shop, I was given a new rubber gasket and sent on my way. Anyways, 8 years later, transmission works great with no issues.
