Brake and Tire Check

I had some concerns about a vibration when braking, so I took my vehicle to Brake and Tire Check to have it inspected. Mr. Jim and his staff thoroughly checked everything and found that my brakes were actually in good condition. What impressed me most was their honesty—they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. The entire team was professional, courteous, and took the time to explain their findings. It’s refreshing to find a shop that puts integrity and customer service first. Because of this experience, Brake and Tire Check will be my go-to shop from now on. To Regional Manager/Supervisor, February 19, 2026 I arrived at your 610 South Loop E. repair shop to purchase and have two tires mounted on my vehicle. Attached you will see the receipt for the two tires I purchased and you will also see an attachment for the second location that I was directed to go to to have the tires mounted or add it to my vehicle. The 610 S. location stated that their machine was out of service but he referred me to the beltway eight location store number 00555. When I arrived, I was not checked in the man that was there that attended to my vehicle started on my driver side rear tire. I arrived there at 3 PM. It took over one hour for them to finish my first tire and I realized the way that they were standing around the wheel mount or the tire machine to take off the wheel from the rim something was wrong. When he came in the store I asked is everything OK? He said yes we’re just working on your tire and he asked me why I was replacing the tire and that I should consider getting the front ones replaced as well. Another hour goes by. They removed my passenger side rear tire and start to remove that tire from the rim to put the new tire on. I was at your location from 3 PM. Until this receipt was printed around five or after 5 PM. Your technician at store location pound, 00555 pulled my car around after he took it for a test drive and had my door open as if I was supposed to just get in my car and drive away. I checked my tires and my rims and immediately parked my vehicle, took photos and videos, and walked back inside your store. I I asked him were you not going to tell me you damaged my rims and the tires that I just bought? He responds as if he’s dumb or doesn’t understand what I’m talking about. Comes out to look at the tires and rims takes only two photos walks back in and says he’s gonna let his manager know. At this time I’ve been to your establishment enough on 610 South Loop to know that they checked me in and out. I was never checked in so I asked your technician. How am I supposed to know if someone’s going to contact me if I have no association with the store since you didn’t give me a receipt or check me in? He then proceeded to claim that he needed my information to add, but never asked for my name or my phone number or any of my information I explained I’ve been to your establishment at other locations, but my number should still be in the system and he acted like what I was saying was incorrect. He eventually printed a receipt for me a check in check out receipt with the times that printed of 513. I had been there since 3 PM. He tried to let me leave not tell me about the damage and when he damaged my first rim, he could’ve just told me instead of damaging the second one when whoever did this tire change did not know what they were doing or how to operate the machinery not only is the brand new tire that I bought damage but also my rims that have never had even un scratch on them. I realize that I could not get what I needed from this location so I went back to the location, where I purchased my tires, they saw how bad of a job they did and the damage they did and can attest to the fact that when they saw my tires and they put air in one of my tires, my rims were not damaged this is not where our tear this is faulty damage and work done by your technician that had no idea what they were doing or how to remove a tire from a rim and forced it on causing damage to my new tires and my rims. I need to be contacted as soon as possible, and if I am not, I will move forward with my next course of action which will be filing a formal complaint in small claims court. The resolution to this are both my rims and my brand new tires. I just bought from your location to be replaced the tires look like garbage now because of the damage they did to them in my room. They didn’t even have the decency to try to clean my tires off. That’s only a few of the photos that I’ve taken. I have several more and videos.

Mr. Jim and Mr. Shelby was amazing. They did an amazing job fixing an oil change that had been done incorrectly by another company. The team was professional, thorough, and took the time to make sure everything was done right. I really appreciate their honesty and attention to detail. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and reliable service.

Brought my Silverado in for a full brake job and had a great experience overall. The pricing was fair, and the manager (I believe his name was Jim/Tim) was professional, transparent, and easy to work with throughout the process. They encountered an unexpected issue during the repair, but what stood out was how they handled it. They immediately took ownership, clearly explained what happened, showed me the parts, completed the necessary repairs at no cost, and kept me informed every step of the way. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how they’re handled, and I appreciated the honesty, communication, and commitment to making things right. I’d have no problem bringing my truck back in the future.

Jim greeted me when I arrived. He was thorough and professional while explaining the work that was needed. Everything went exactly as he said it would. Overall fantastic experience. I won't use anyone else for my brake work.
