A-TECH AUTO TRANSMISSION SPECIALIS

I’ve returned my work van to them 4 times within 2 months with the same issue. And I keep getting told that it’s a new problem and I’ve lost north of $15k and over 30 customers because it has sat in his shop for 4-5 weeks total. I don’t recommend these guys, they’ve made me lose money. I think my next step is a lawsuit.

I purchased a vehicle from a dealership that had a bad transmission, the dealership paid for the transmission rebuild. The first time they rebuilt it, it went out within 2 days with the same issue and they said that they haven’t replaced everything because the only thing that was bad was the clutches, the second time they rebuilt it, it went out within a month and had a check engine light for a transmission fluid pressure which I had told him and he said it needs new fluid change, yet I haven’t even driven it for 2k miles, and each time they took a week or longer, and the 3rd time which was Sunday 3rd of May, and I had contacted the owner on the same day and he said he will send a tow truck and it didn’t pick it up on Sunday, I called Monday, no answer, I called Tuesday and asked for receipts and proof of parts that was changed and he never responded to that request, and he picked it up on Wednesday morning without any heads up of when, he called and said that the tow was there and I didn’t have time to prepare for it and I had just got home from an 18hr shift. And I called him on Saturday and asked him when it’ll be done and he said Wednesday which is a week after he picked it up. So I visited, and they haven’t even worked on it and it was just parked. I went again on Monday to pick up more tools from my van, and it wasn’t even touched. TWO DAYS before it was supposed to be done. And I contacted him on Wednesday when he said that it’ll be done, and his response was “ I will let you know when it’s ready” I run a company with that vehicle being my work vehicle. Within a month and a half I’ve had to bring back my van 3 times. Each time with the same issue. No receipts, no paperwork, no clue what was replaced and until now it’s still there. If this business is truly run properly, then I demand proof of work, parts, receipts, etc. otherwise, I’ll have to take legal actions against them. And I demand that my vehicle be ready by Friday the 15th of May with extended 1 year warranty at a total of 2 years warranty. 3 times a transmission going out after being rebuilt by “ Transmission Specialist” is ironic! Do better!

NEVER USE THEM!!! Thieves and liars!! International box truck... Guys are thieves !!! Paid half when dropped off truck, then when I told them we needed truck, they said they needed rest, to buy the part! Truck still seating at shop after 1 year! Was told to get a tow truck and no refunds!!! They have been paid 100%!!! Truck not even touched!!

The only place in Houston I’ll take my car. They’ve rebuilt my transmission as well as other odds and ends repairs. Always fair, and always timely. Would absolutely recommend, and will definitely come back.

I pay $1200 to get my truck fix ..They keep the truck for 5 weeks and never fix My truck still with it check engine light on. I call the owner and he never answered me so I pick up the truck. I will not recommend this place I had a bad experience. I will report this place to the Attorney General. And the Better Business Bureau. And will call my Lawyer.
