I had an excellent experience with my transmission repair here. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and maintained a positive, reassuring tone the entire time he was taking care of my car. He also kept an open communication line and checked in with me periodically. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work being done. The job was completed in just one day, which was impressive. Not only did he beat the dealership’s prices, but he also offered flexible payment options — something I’ve honestly never experienced before with auto repairs. That level of understanding and customer care really stood out to me. I will absolutely be coming back for any future vehicle needs and highly recommend him to anyone looking for honest, quality work.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE I want to be as transparent as possible about my experience. I am currently in nursing school and rely on my truck to get to clinicals every Saturday and Sunday. Recently, I noticed my truck would jerk right after takeoff (around 5 MPH), but after that it drove completely normal. Because this shop was close to where I’m staying, I decided to bring it here. On Monday, April 20, 2026 at 9:30 AM, I spoke with Danny. I explained exactly what my truck was doing. He told me they would perform a diagnostic and road test, and if I decided to fix it, they could have it done within a week. I asked about cost and was told the diagnostic would be free, so I agreed to move forward. Later that same day around 5:50 PM, Danny called and said they noticed slipping, jerking, and metal shavings in the transmission fluid. He then told me I would need an internal diagnostic costing $895. I told him I would think about it and come back the next morning. On Tuesday, April 21 at 8:30 AM, I returned and explained that I am currently not working and needed at least a ballpark estimate before committing. He refused to give any price range, saying they wouldn’t know until opening it. I then asked what a full rebuild would cost, and he told me “THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A REBUILD,” which didn’t make sense. After sitting there for 3 1/2 hours, I eventually felt the pressure and signed the waiver around 12 PM. On Thursday, April 23, I stopped by and saw my truck sitting outside. When I asked for an update, I was told they had not even started on it yet. On Monday, April 27 at 7:50 AM, I returned again and saw them just then pulling my truck into the bay. Later at 11:52 AM, Danny called and said my truck was “A LOT worse than expected” and now NEEDED A COMPLETE REBUILD. He gave me two options: Complete rebuild: $6,788.55 Remanufactured transmission: $6,587.55 I declined both and told him to put my truck back together. He then tried to push financing and even suggested putting the loan in someone else’s name. I told him no multiple times. When I asked if I would be able to drive my truck afterward, he said he “couldn’t give a solid answer,” even though I DROVE the truck there. Then the timeline changed again. I was originally told repairs could be done quickly, but now it would take until next week just to put it back together because he “only has one technician.” April 28, 2026, I arranged a tow truck. I went up there, paid the $895, and told him I wanted my truck released so it could be towed elsewhere. He refused. I asked to sign a waiver and take responsibility. He told me that was “not an option” and that it was “company policy” that they had to put it back together first even though I needed my vehicle immediately. Today is May 1st, 2026 I just got my vehicle back. Not because Danny called me. Because I drove there and seen my vehicle sitting outside the gate. Dannys responce was "they just finished it". My experience: Long delays with little to no communication No clear pricing upfront Pressure tactics to push expensive repairs Refusal to release my vehicle even with a waiver Changing timelines and inconsistent information At one point, after quoting thousands of dollars, Danny even said: “What are you going to do for transportation? It’s hard without a vehicle right now. The automotive market is sky high” That is when I truly felt like he was taking advantage of me and attempting to play off my current situation. Final warning: If you go here, DO NOT sign the waiver for internal inspection unless you are 100% committed. Once you do, you lose control of your situation. For context, I drive a 2015 Ram 1500 3.6L, which is currently worth around $1,800. Being quoted over $6,500 for repairs on a vehicle with that value makes this situation even more concerning and difficult to justify. This has been a stressful and frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Amazing service and honest .saved my jeep. After 2 other mechanics in spring tried to rip me off one told me to replace the Trans. The other at amco claimed to be a pastor for oak olstine he wanted 10 grand to fix my car after diagnostic the other sed it definitely wasn't a cable and needed replacement 6 grand.it was a bad cable within days I got it fixed with a payment plan for around 800.im sure there's a warranty on the replacement parts.im driving again im very happy.

If you don’t want to have a bad experience and being overcharged please don’t take it to this shop!!!! Danny is very rude and just tries to scam you trying to charge you for parts that you don’t need. Labor price charge is outrageous!!! They don’t want to give your car if it’s not assembled!!! If paid $928 for them to give me the diagnostic and almost $8000 for transmission!! Over the limits!! I went to another transmission shop and I was treated very good and with respect!! Not overcharged!!! I even think my transmission was never pulled out for diagnostic!! I has 3 transmissions done at this shop!! Everything was great until this time!! Bad experience with Danny. I even had to call the police to the shop!! I feel scammed!! I have my vehicle repaired and running smooth and with warranty!! Did not pay double for repairs not needed. Horrible experience! I don’t recommend this place!!!

I’m just a guy from New Orleans bringing his family to Houston for my daughter volleyball tournament when all of a sudden I start hearing a noise off and on coming from the front end. I went to A+ Transmission terrified and received some of the best service ever. Had a transmission diagnostic done and the team was honest. They could’ve tried to scam me out of my money but they made my terrified moment a moment of relief. Told me my problem and all went well. Thank you guys. I appreciate the honesty and great customer service. GOD bless
