DJJ Tires

I called in advance for pricing on a mount and balance on four tires and was told $90. I showed up and I was told $140 by the man outside, so I explained to them that the person on the phone told me $90 and they walked inside for about a minute, came back out and said oh yeah 90 is what we meant. I proceeded To have them put on the tires and then they started trying to load the old tires into my car. I asked if I couldn’t leave the tires and they said, well you can but you’ll have to give us $20, which I was never told until the end. Moral of the story, I typically go to Catrachos in Farmersville, which is Cheaper, but I was already in Greenville and didn’t feel like making the drive. But if I would have known that They were going to try to charge me an extra $20 after finishing the job then I would’ve just driven to Catrachos, where they take the tires for free like every other tire shop I’ve been to in my life.

I purchased what i was told was a great set of used tires on a Friday, as soon as i drove off my vehicle was shaking really bad i went back several of times, but the whole time insisted there was nothing wrong with the tires, the lady inside the office was getting upset because i kept coming back, and specially after i went to two other tire shop to get their opinion, and the other tires shops said those tire had bad spots, they replaced two of the tires but didn’t really solve the whole issue,i gave up and just went home for the day, Monday came around and on my way to Mesquite i almost had a wreck on 30 due to one of the tires, stopped at the closest tire shop and they found that one of the tires also had a bad flat spot i ended up buying new tires at the end of the day it cost me 3 times my money and put my life in danger. Not going back to them.

I am convinced this place is just one big scam!! I almost bought two tires from them. Good thing I asked in advance, but even though I was buying the tires from them, they wanted to charge $75 extra just to mount them!! Please do not waste your time. Most places would do it for free when you buy the tires from them.

Do not reccommend. 2nd time a lug stud was broken here and they said it was like that before we arrived. Happened last year with my husband's vehicle. Fast forward to today, Had a screw in my tire today. Got it patched in the shop at my work. Ran errands, total drive time about 45min after the patch. It's raining so the patch failed later that afternoon and air started coming out. This place was the closest. They quoted me 55 for a used 18in tire. Starts taking off lug nuts with a power tool. Comes to my window holding the lug nut showing me the lug stud is stuck inside and that it's broken smooth off. Told me it wasn't them. It was whoever fixed my tire earlier in the day. The lug would have fallen off if that was the case because the stud was broken off in it. Told me a mechanic will have to fix it. Final cost was a few cents away from 60 for a used tire and now have to go to a mechanic. Was quoted 40 a few miles away but was afraid I wouldn't make it. Should have chanced it. Called these guys before coming in. Told them I needed tires taken off and new ones that I was bringing in to be mounted and balanced. I told them the size and everything. They told me $20/tire (6 tires) So I drove all the way to their shop just for them to tell me that it will be $220 instead of the $120 they told me over the phone. I told them they told me a different price over the phone and he just laughed and shook his head. Will not go back to this shop.
