Grand Prairie Ford Service

I will never buy a truck here again. I’m currently sitting in the service department going on 3.5 hours. So far all they have done is change the oil. I had an appointment. I’m not a walk in. Trucks been sitting stagnant for 2 hrs now waiting to get the Zak tech reapplied. Even though all my services are covered and the truck is still brand new, they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff. Their main goal when you purchase mpp protection is to try and get you to spend money anyways. $124.99 for an in cabin air filter that is $20 at autozone. So for 105.99 they open your glove box and replace it. Also trying to sell me $80 worth of oil and fuel additives. I purchased windshield protection. I can tell you now don’t do that. The coverage is so limited that I might have to replace my quarter size rock ding myself. I got the truck 1 year ago! They don’t even help you at the dealership you bought protection from. They gave me a number to call someone else. I trade my truck in every 4 years. Next time I’ll find a different ford dealership. Last time I got the zak tech reapplied, and oil change and tire rotation it took three hours.al luckily I marked the tires. So I knew they didn’t do a tire rotation. This time they changed the oil hour 1. Not sure about the rotation yet. But my truck hasn’t moved in 2.5 hours since they did the oil change…. Update. Still residue all over the truck from their cheap protective coating “zak tech”. It’s now 1:24 and I got my keys. Only applied it to front driver/passenger door. Last time they did the whole interior. Couldn’t be bothered to clean the windshield even though Zak tech says it comes with full detail. I have to wipe the entire truck down because there is over splatter everywhere. I cannot wait for my service agreement to be over with them. Update. It took me 2 hours to get my windshield and all the places that had over spray the roof still had visible soap residue so I guess they don’t put the “paint protective coating” on all the paint. My entire truck looked visibly scratched everywhere from the buffer. Luckily I was able to buff it all out by hand using chemical bros spray on detailed. LOOK AT THE DEALERS RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW. It’s clearly to save face online. They asked me to call them to let them know what happened. But my review clearly states EVERYTHING. If they actually gave a shit they would call me. Instead they pretended to care with some generic response online.

I took my vehicle in for the 30,000 mile maintenance check. Santos was my service technician. He always takes great care of me. I was provided with a ride home. Once everything was finished, he contacted me to let me know the outcome. I provided the payment and my vehicle was delivered to me. It was nice and clean as well! 😊 Always great customer service, at this location. I'm happy I purchased my vehicle from here!

I had a great experience at Grand Prairie Ford, especially working with Antonio in the service department. From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Antonio kept me informed throughout the entire process, explained everything clearly, and made sure my vehicle was taken care of in a timely manner. It’s not always easy to find someone who genuinely cares about customer service, but he definitely goes above and beyond. I truly appreciate his communication, honesty, and dedication. I purchased a brand-new 2025 Mustang GT Premium from Grand Prairie Ford on November 15, 2025. I want to start by recognizing the sales team — they worked hard throughout the process, and I was satisfied with their professionalism and dedication. Their effort deserves credit, and I truly appreciated the support during the purchase. Unfortunately, the condition of the car after delivery and the follow-up work left me disappointed. The vehicle was not properly detailed or cleaned when returned to me. Instead, it was handed back immediately after the paint job and buffing, with visible compound debris left behind. The paint had numerous imperfections, permanent residue that is difficult to remove, and even splatters across the panels. For some reason, excess compound was also found inside the trunk and even in the backseat area, which should never happen on a new premium vehicle. While Grand Prairie Ford did attempt to fix the original bumper/headlight defect, the quality of the paint correction and detailing was unacceptable. Rather than restoring the car to factory condition, the finish was left worse than before. I also tracked the vehicle using the Ford App and an Apple AirTag, and discovered that it had been moved multiple times away from the dealership. The odometer showed an additional 3 miles driven, and the gas gauge reflected usage beyond the original amount when I dropped it off. This raises serious concerns about accountability and proper handling of customer property. I want to be clear: I love Ford and the Mustang brand. My concern is not with the product itself but with the dealership experience and the lack of care in handling repairs and detailing. Some Ford dealerships need more overall improvement to meet the standards customers expect, and if that cannot be guaranteed, then customers should at least be compensated or supported through other Ford departments to ensure satisfaction. Overall, I appreciate the effort of the sales staff and the fact that Grand Prairie Ford attempted to address the defect, but the poor delivery condition, paint imperfections, compound debris inside the car, and unexplained driving of my vehicle have left me disappointed. I chose this dealership over others in the county because I trusted them, and I hope to see improvements that reflect the quality and reputation of the Ford brand.
