Garland Safety Lane

Take a trip back in time. Garland Safety Lane was recommended to me for my 1982 corvette's alignment problems. I brought my car in for help today and I was met by a big "Hello, pull on in here". So i pulled into a empty repair lane. The employee who turned out to be the owner Matt was so welcoming and friendly. He asked what i needed and he listened carefully and told me " i think we can help you". That made me feel so good. The tech that drove my car in was Manny. Both gentlemen could not have been nicer. They checked under my car and found the issues that were causing my problems. They quickly and thoroughly repaired my car and took extra time to check other areas of my front end. Manny took my car for a drive and made sure everything was perfect. Folks, I cant tell you how awesome this place is. They opened in 1954 are still at this same location. If you need front end repair, brakes , alignment, this shop is the best. It was a fun ride home. The car drove perfect.

Hands down best shop you can trust in all Dallas Metroplex brought my 2023 F250 in to redo the Alignment that supposedly Mavis Tire did they did it fast test drove the vehicle before and after this place is 10 star highly recommend.

You know I just like the same that you can't find a better group of guys that are knowledgeable they're pricing is fair and they're just all around good American red blooded Trump loving guys you can sit up there and hang out while your truck or your car's being worked on and it's just a good time they're not stuffy they know what they're doing they get it done quickly and they get it done professionally, I have a 93 Chevrolet c1500 they know me by the yellow tailgate those guys are awesome I can't say enough about them they've done a lot of work for me over the years and I highly recommend them with no reservations do yourself a favor if you need suspension work or brake work done take it there you won't be sorry you did.

A HIDDEN GEM - Safety Lane in Garland is a blast from the past all the way down to the old fashioned customer service, and non nonsense pricing. This is an amazing choice for anyone needing brakes, suspension or alignment work done on their car or truck. Notable Safety Lane is lowered car friendly, has flush drive over pits, and even the now vintage equipment to properly align classic cars by hand. If you have a muscle car or some sort of antique that needs steering or suspension alignment this is the place to go. 

I found it very remarkable that Matt is the proud 4th owner of the company, which opened in 1952, more than 70 years ago. He purchased it from the widow of the 3rd family owner, after having been an employee there himself for more than a decade. He didn’t change anything, and if you call you will probably hear him answer the phone “SAFETY LANE” and hear you out. 

Nothing high tech, nothing fancy, and no official appointments. They take you first come first served, and the line begins forming 30 minutes before they open at 7am. On our visit we waited for quite a while in line, but in the end it was worth it. I have never seen someone put so much time and effort into an alignment, Matt took the car out onto the road 3 times to test drive it himself. How is that for customer service?

Someday in the future places like Safety Lane may not even exist, but for now you can step back into a simpler time and experience honest customer service like your grandpa used to get! Highly recommended!

My experience at this shop was great I went in for a front wheel alignment which was 50 dollars the guy that helped me out was very helpful and had a great attitude about everything I would recommend this place for anyone needing work done on your car or truck I will definitely be back to get some more work done
