Great Service and Tesla Savings! I recently took my Tesla Model Y to the NTB on Preston Road in Frisco, and I had an excellent experience, all thanks to Jerry. ​Jerry was incredibly friendly and took the time to be very informative about the service my car needed. To make things even better, he hooked me up with a fantastic discount on my tire rotation. ​Getting this done at the Tesla Service Center would have cost me $200 more! If you drive a Tesla and want honest, knowledgeable service without the massive dealership markup, definitely go see Jerry at this NTB location. I highly recommend them!

Something to understand about my 5-star rating, is that I’ve been performing my own automotive work for the past 30 years and am very skeptical of mechanic shops due to past experiences. So when I give this rating, it’s because they’ve earned my trust and I will reuse this shop. A store is only as good as its management and staff and my experience here was outstanding. I came in with a hard to identify & reproduce noise in the suspension. They took the time to listen to me fully, asked my permission to do a test drive to reproduce (which they did), and successfully identified a worn upper control arm that was not visually evident. They showed me exactly what they found and shared additional notes of other maintenance needs to address before failure, such as rear wheel bearings showing issues showing signs of age but not at the point of noise (which is too late if that’s the symptom to service bearings). I felt like it was more of a collaboration on the work and repairs than a “customer at the hands a technical shop”. The staff were all knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The manager I worked with, John, even ensure his staff had sufficient experience with the work and my vehicle before committing to repairs. I can honestly say I haven’t experienced this kind of integrity in a long while, and John at this establishment has earned my trust. Labor nowadays is higher, for sure, but they try to work with their customers, and let’s be honest, modern vehicles require specialized training and skill. For the quality of staff and work I received, I feel the price aligns with the skill. I started using this location for my alignments and have gradually become trusting enough to task them with more critical work like my suspension/steering gremlins.

Excellent Timely service for a walk in. I’ve been here twice. First with appointment and Today as walk in. I dread going to the tire shop because of their average wait times, but not here. I was seen immediately. The staff was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. Location is clean. Only recommendation is a coffee station, but it didn’t matter to me because a fast service is better than long wait times + coffee station. Service by Jeremy & John

I’m very particular when it comes to my car, so I was honestly a little hesitant about trying National Tire & Battery for the first time. From the moment I walked in, Jerry completely put my mind at ease. He answered every single one of my 1,001 questions with patience, walked me through all of my options, and never once made me feel pressured to spend more than I needed to. Instead of trying to upsell me, he took the time to educate me on the different tire options and pricing so I could make the best decision for my car. As a woman, I really appreciated that level of honesty and transparency. The service was quick, the process was smooth, and the customer service was truly 10/10. Jerry is the reason National Tire & Battery has earned my business going forward. Thank you for making what could’ve been a stressful experience such an easy one!

I came in tonight, looking to take care of a TPMS light on my dashboard that had been on and off for some months and ultimately stopped going away when I aired up my tires, and was immediately impressed when I called late in the evening, and John answered my call cheerfully and was happy to help and let me know they had room to take me on the spot. Service was quick and easy, I got a couple extra things taken care of, and spent probably like half of what I was bracing myself to actually spend. What I would really like to commend this place, though, isn’t even related to my own visit per se, but while I was waiting in the lobby, I overheard another customer who needed a tire that was out of stock at this location, but John called to find it at another location, sent a tech over to pick it up, and even offered to stay open late for this customer so that he could still get his tire tonight. That’s the kind of stuff that makes me want to keep coming back to any place for anything — good prices are awesome, but that was some genuine humanity and extra-mile stuff. Six outta five stars.
