I went to this auto repair shop because my car was overheating, and I was quite stressed about it. The technicians quickly inspected the cooling system and identified the problem without wasting time. They explained the issue in simple terms and provided a clear estimate before starting the repair. I liked how transparent they were throughout the process. The repair was completed on time, and they also tested the vehicle afterward to make sure everything was working properly. After the service, my car has not shown any overheating problems, even after long drives. The staff was professional and friendly, and they made sure I understood what was done. Overall, it was a smooth and reliable experience that gave me confidence in their work.

Super friendly and upfront about pricing. I got my car “fixed” in Ohio at a mechanic before I moved down here. Turns out the issues weren’t fixed at all but Friendswood auto got my car working perfectly again! It was only in the shop for a few days before it was ready for pickup. Will definitely come back here again for any other car trouble!

Ive been coming to Friendswood Auto Center for about a year now and it’s been a great experience every time. They’re professional, upfront, and honest about what needs to be done. The service is always quick and I’ve never had any issues with the completed work for any of my vehicles. Definitely a shop I trust!

Very disappointed overall. Took my vehicle here for a tire balance and alignment. Was sent photos/videos of my wheels bent when they removed them from the car. Figured no use attempting to balance bent rims but for some reason they did it anyway. Was assured it should be better on the highway. Picked it up and test drove it down the road. Drove horribly, worse than when I brought in. Took it back straight away and was told nothing could be done as techs were gone for the day. (Tech was sitting next to him the whole time apparently). Manager was called and he pushed for that tech to switch the wheels around when I interjected and stated a professional shop should have never attempted balancing bent rims and requested the $60 back for the balancing which they did return. As I got home though awful noises were coming from the suspension worse than ever. I investigated the next morning and found what's shown in the photo and video. Lug nuts that weren't even finger tight. Whole wheel was whobbling on its hub. Figured with a local shop and higher prices they would have had a higher standard than chain shops but no. The wheel could have sheared off the wheel studs while on the road and could have caused an accident endangering my life and others. Take extreme caution when having your vehicle serviced here. Quality is definitely not of high standard at this establishment.

Friendswood Auto was recommended to me a couple of years ago when I was facing a very expensive repair. They came in about 30% less than a competitor up the street, and the work was excellent. Just this week, I had another major repair, and once again they went above and beyond—saving me another 30% on their own original quote by working hard to source high-quality aftermarket parts instead of cutting corners. This is a high-integrity team that does excellent work and genuinely looks out for their customers. I can’t recommend them enough.
