After 3 visits to one of those places with "brakes" in the name, the brakes on my truck were still wobbly and surging, so naturally I didn't want to go there again... Jeff and crew had done some previous work for me so I asked if they could have a look at this brake issue and they knocked it right out. Was having an issue with my car after a repair with a mechanic I have used nearly all my life. He replaced parts the 1st time, which fixed the current issue, only to drive all the way home 50+ miles to then have my car not start. Had it towed back to him and after almost 3 weeks he said he found the problem and was told it was fixed. It was driving fine, but I noticed a rattling sound under the hood, but couldn't pinpoint it. Brought it back to him and had him drive around with me and he believed it was another part that needed to be replaced. Because of all the money I spent in the last 2+ visits and tow bills, I was waiting until it needed to be replaced. Being the kind of person who has worked on my own cars all my adult life, I bought the parts recommended by my mechanic and replaced them. No change in the rattling sound. I researched and replaced a part from a service bulletin for my car that could be a source of the rattling sound, and not only was it still there, it had become worse. I called my mechanic and asked for a return call, which I never received. So, I was looking for a mechanic I could bring my car to that was trustworthy and reliable, since I haven't used anyone else up to now. I found Keller Neighborhood auto service. I drove up there to talk with Jeff about my issues. He arranged for a tow truck to pick up my car so he can diagnose the problem. Within a little over a day he called me back and said he replaced the part that I had replaced by my other mechanic (which Jeff discovered was defective) and the sound was gone. He also recommended some additional work that could be done while he had the car, so he completed the additional work. I had my car back within couple days and has driven great since. Grateful for Jeff and his guys taking care of the issue. Will be back with any future car needs.
