Driver's Edge

This was my first time getting any service done here and I had a good experience. I found them on Groupon. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They kept me updated on the status of my service and let me know the potential hazards that would need to get taken care of when I had the chance. They were thorough and the prices seem fair for the services my vehicle needed.

After striking out at two other shops—one where the staff was strangely defensive about a simple ETA question and another with a parking lot so jammed it was a safety hazard—finding Driver’s Edge was a breath of fresh air. I came in suspecting CV axle issues, and they were incredibly professional from the jump. They performed a thorough inspection, confirmed my hunch, and then showed me actual photos of the damage along with a few other items needing attention. No guessing games or hidden agendas. As a woman, I’ve dealt with shops that talk down to me or underestimate my knowledge. Not here. The team was respectful and actually took the time to educate me on the mechanics of the repair, which I really appreciated. They gave me a fair quote and even mentioned financing options just in case. Once the parts arrived the next day, the actual labor took less than four hours. From the intake team to the folks who handled my pickup, the service was seamless, courteous, and fast. If you want a shop that respects your time and treats you with total transparency, this is the spot. Total turnaround for two new axles was less than 24 hours. Highly recommended.

Expensive. Almost dealers' price. Dropped car off because A/C was blowing hot air. I called back few hours after dropping off to cancel after I determined their price was close to the dealership's. Was told they have already started the work. Interesting. Long story short, it looks like they added freon and dye to detect leaks. Was told to bring it back again if and whenever the issue returned. Was never told it must be done within 1 year. Issue returned took it back to them, now I am being told the expectation was to return the car within a few months, plus my car was having some other issues that may or may not be related to the a/c blowing hot air. Didn't even bothered to check on the dye that was supposedly added to detect leaks. That was a part of what I paid for before, correct? Car is now at the dealership and they are going to evacuate the system, do recharge, and dye testing.

I've been to Drivers Edge twice so far and each time I've came here I've had great service! The team over at Drivers Edge is very pleasant, thorough and detailed! When it came to taking care of my vehicle they even sent me detailed photos of recommended services which I think is great so you can at least see with YOUR own eyes what's going on with your vehicle. I thank everyone over at Drivers Edge for helping me get my car back in shape! I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you!

This was one of the most informative, helpful , personalized experience I’ve had at places similar to this. This specific location, on Oakmont Blvd Fort Worth, Texas was where this review is based on. Don’t be fooled in thinking… ‘ this is just another Corporate ripoff business; at this location it is not! It felt like a local ‘mom and pop’ with the very real communication pointing out observable issues about what my car may need to optimize its longevity and performance. This did not feel like a sales tool pitch but an honest assessment of my vehicles needs. I may be switching from my present Firestone account to Driver’s Edge at this location.
