THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED FROM AN EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN!!! I would like to start this review by saying the products are terrible if you read through the reviews. I paid $2500 for a 6L90 transmission that lasted all of 9k miles. When trying to go through the warranty process, their warranty claims specialist, Arron Pulsipher, told me I would have to provide proof of an issue by taking the transmission pan off in the dead middle of winter. Horrible customer service. Typically when your part fails and a vehicle is dead on the road the part company is at fault for the tow bill and repair. I had to tow my vehicle back to my house on my own dollar because Arron said a shop cannot take it apart. Well how are you supposed to know what actually went wrong? Never reimbursed for any of it either. Long story short, this company is very shady and Arron will try to fight you with every ounce to delay or in my case deny any warranty claims you try to bring on due to their lackluster quality as a whole company. When asked to speak with a higher manager I was told to essentially “piss off” and what I had at the time was my only option. I tried to even reach out to the company as a whole but they will never respond back! I hope nobody else is screwed out of thousands of dollars like I was! Meanwhile I waited 6 months till automotive school started, disassembled my transmission in class, all to find out these morons built me the wrong transmission!!! Missing clutch plates in all of my input clutches which causes incorrect clutch apply, in turn burning up the clutches and putting too much unequal lateral force on the piston causes it to crack! BUYER BEWARE! YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!

why am i getting a transmission from you when i ordered it from power train company???i don’t want it from you guys…you have worse reviews than them.. please don’t ship it.. i will refuse it when it arrives…. 9/21/25UPDATE you guys shipped a trans to me when i order it from powertrans company..i thought you guys test your shit… had trans in for 1 day. and 30 mikes on it…brought home from shop .. next day trans fluid all over the driveway.. what i thought was a gasket leak was wrong ,took back to shop and there is a hairline crack in the tail housing…NOW TELL ME I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO GET THIS FIXED..this it on you guys…it was shipped that way.. i shouldn’t have to go through the warranty and have to pay.. you should have atleast a 30 day warranty on your shit.. or atleast cover the repair cost…UPDATE will be coming..well of course i hear nothing from them.. apparently they do not test the transmissions…IF THEY DID YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD SEE TRANS FLUID COMING FROM IT DURING THE TEST…if you order through the middle man powertrain company make SURE it DOES NOT COME FROM THIS PLACE…

We purchased our 2019 Ford Expedition transmission from a third- party supplier, who obtained it from AER Transmission, believing they are a reliable source for a refurbished transmission. The shop where we took our car was offering a transmission with a shorter coverage period (12 months). However, Reman Transmission offered a 3-5 year warranty for the same price. Due to the warranty and their promise to replace it immediately, covering labor, they sold us the transmission effortlessly. We bought it right after it arrived at the shop on a local flatbed truck, which amazed the mechanics and technicians working on my SUV. When they finally installed it and the service adviser went to test drive, another driver signaled to him because there were traces of transmission fluid on the street. Long story short, after 9 weeks without a car, paying for a rental, making over 48 calls, and the shop' s service adviser communicating with the documentation platform, we received the two transmissions, and it was replaced. After nearly $ 5, 000 in costs, we learned they would only reimburse us about $740.00 ($50.00 per 10 hours of labor, fluids, and $150 for programming). Honestly, where in the USA can a certified place charge only $50.00 an hour for replacing a damaged transmission? After several attempts and speaking with a supposedly ghost- like person named Josh, Reman Transmission gave me a direct number for the AER warranty department. This was the first time someone listened to my frustrations and could potentially help after paying $ 5, 000- covering the transmission, programming, fluids twice, rental car for 9 weeks, and towing. Yet, they only consider paying us $740. The warranty rep promised to follow up with me the next day. After 1 ½ weeks, we finally got our SUV back. Upon calling him to find out he didn' t recall our conversation- because he receives over 200 calls daily and doesn' t keep track with notes- I' m left frustrated. Someone supposed to assist with customer service and warranty claims responded unprofessionally, even when I asked about the check' s destination. His reply was, " I have to address her (which he didn' t even confirm with me), I don' t know... You would need to speak to ) K @@@@..." This is not a reliable company that understands customer satisfaction. Their warranty processes are outdated, based on books not revised in 10-15 years, relying on outdated labor cost estimates.

Absolutely awful Purchased a 68rfe transmission for my 2011 ram 2500 diesel. Immediately after the install there was a delayed engagement into gear after it sat for an hour or so. Drove the truck a few days to see if the problem persists and it did. After contacting the company with my issue I was told because my truck does not have an EGR valve that I wouldn’t be eligible for warranty. However I was instructed to reinstall an EGR valve and then they would proceed with warranty. #1 I would enjoy an intelligent explanation of how a missing EGR valve would cause torque converter drain back (as I assume not one person there could produce one) #2 If your warranty guidelines are truly this strict how is it installing an EGR valve would make my transmission able to be repaired under warranty This truck was purchased by be without emissions installed making reversing the process almost unattainable. I could understand if I had 8-10k miles on this transmission that I would be liable for any damages done to the transmission. But this problem was right out of the box meaning the transmission was incorrectly built. Clearly the company does not stand behind their own product. The warranty guidelines are to their own benefit and not to the consumer. I have never received a call back to resolve this issue and I assume I won’t either.

I wish I would have read the reviews about this place before my Ford shop put in my transmission. 37 months on a transmission with less than 3600 miles. Yes that's right, I have a Ford Excursion I very seldom drive. 1 month past the warranty date with 3582 miles on a transmission and these people are telling me tough. They will sell me another transmission though. No thank you after this type of customer service. My shop even asked to see if they could send it back to have them find out why it came apart at 3582 miles. They said they were not interested in finding out. Basically we got your money the first time and here are 2 middle fingers for your customer service.
