We are FT travelers with a F350 4x4. Called to have u-joint and gasket replaced, asking for estimate. Was given an estimate and final.price was same as estimate. Was told 1-2 days and it was out in 1 day. Very pleased with the service, highly recommend. Don't let the condition of the yard fool you.
View on GoogleLast of a dying bread. Couldn't recommend more. I have been trying to diagnose a suspension problem. With little money in my account. I went to several mechanics in town all of them told me shocks and struts on all four sides, and could be more problems, for $1300-2000 best case. Cornerstone Collision recommended James. I brought my car to him and he was able to diagnose the problem in less than 30 minutes to be rear coil springs, walked me through replacing them myself. Great man and mechanic. Even asked me to join for lunch...chicken, rice, soda and episode of cops. Never met a mechanic so kind and helpful. And he did it for free out of the kindness of his heart.

Just took my 2008 Rav4 (recently purchased with 260K miles *no that is not a typo) in to have my front lower control arms replaced. *im not an automotive novice* That requires a car lift. His shop is not a car repair franchise with a waiting room and coffee. Drop your car off, go home and let him fix it. I had the honor of watching him and his fellow mechanic work on my car in his shop and speaking with Mr. Newman. He is a man that just can't keep a smile off his face. I found his shop through google... I'm in Conroe and needed a local mechanic. I read the reviews for his shop. That's why I took my car there. Old school auto shop, and old school guy. 100% recommended.
View on GoogleTook my car to get an alignment charged me $100 did not do the alignment Bought brand new part for my vehicle $500 they did not put the new part on my car and my car actually started running worse when I picked it up from them because of this I’ve lost a lot of time at work and they are refusing to pay me what they owe me. So I’m going to have to get a lawyer to be able to get what they owe me. I’ve lost over 2k because of them.
View on GoogleNewman's is awesome. Have been using him for several years now since moving into the neighborhood down the road, and he's the go-to guy for all my neighbors as well. James has done jobs for me ranging from very small (that he refused to charge me for) to pretty big (full AC replacement). He's always been honest, quick, and the pricing can't be beat. I always feel bad cramming him in my tiny car to take him for a test drive since he probably always got picked first for basketball, but he never complains. Highly recommend.
