Costco Tire Service Center

I had a great experience at the Costco Tire Center in The Woodlands and wanted to especially thank Jason for his outstanding service. He was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. I honestly had no idea about the available discount, and he took the time to explain it to me, which I really appreciated. Even though I arrived about 35 minutes late for my appointment, Jason still managed everything professionally and got my tires changed on schedule. That level of understanding and customer care is rare these days. Thank you again, Jason, for going above and beyond! I truly appreciate it and will definitely be coming back.

Bought my tires and had them installed them. Very easy process for this. The wait time is a little on the long-time as I waited about 3 hours+, for the service installation. And you only can do the installation or repairs, under appointment only. Is very difficult to impossible, to do it as a walk-in. Great quality prices for your auto needs.

I bought four new tires. The service was timely. The lack of empathetic listening and feedback on return questions (necessary elements as professional tools for any manager) led him to assume something I never told him. Instead of keeping two new tires and installing only two, he installed four new ones and kept two old ones at his whim, even though I was very clear in my statement. He simply blamed me for saying something different, with no option to replace the tires. Frustrating, so I'd never want to return for service like that.

Went in today with an appointment to have a tire looked at that was leaking air. I was told the tire in question could not be fixed. It needed to be replaced. And since the tread on the tire was just under where it needed to be, I would have to pay $71 plus tax. While the technician was explaining all this to me on the phone, his coworker mentioned another tire may have a problem with a screw in it. I said if the second tire has a problem, I would like a picture and to personally see what is wrong. I walked back to the tire station and was invited out into the bay where my car was being worked on. I was shown my tire with a small plug. I asked where the screw was that they had removed and was told it was in the trash. No pictures were taken. I said how do I know you’re being truthful or not? The technician responded with “ I would not lie to you”! So a second tire had to be replaced with the cost of $71 plus tax. So was I taking advantage of or were they looking out for me? I guess we will never know. One thing I do know is I will not be buying tires at Costco ever again! They will not plug a tire, they’ll just sell you a new one. On a positive note, I did not have to wait long at all!

JASON (Tire / Auto Dept. Manager) IS AN ANGEL!!! I was driving into to Houston to go to my 30 year High School Reunion from Dallas Friday 07.28.23 when I hear some grinding/scraping sound when I pulled into a gas station about 5 miles earlier! Turns out, when I had my oil changed on Wednesday evening at a “Take 5 Oil & Lube”, they didn’t reattach my under carriage correctly and it was dragging (attached pics). It’s 5:55 P.M. and Costco Auto is about to close and Jason said he’d get under my car and cut the dragging pieces off (Mind you, it’s Friday at 6:00 P.M. and it’s 100 degrees out 🥵!) I offered him a bottled water (I had a cooler filled in my car for the hotel) and $60 cash! He absolutely refused the cash but said he’d take the water and said, “just come buy tires from me. Oh wait, you live in Dallas, just right a review.” Anyone in the Conroe or Woodlands area, go see Jason (don’t know his last name), the Manager of The Auto/Tire Dept. if you need tires 🛞! And Costco corporation and / or Jason’s supervisor, Jason deserves a raise!!! Thank YOU again Jason!!! 🙏🏻🥰👏🏻🥂
