I used to go here a lot; however, there's a new owner. I recommended this place to my wife for a new tire. When she got back, something didn't look right on the car. For whatever reason, these folks thought it'd be a good idea to sell a replacement tire that was an OFF ROAD / AT tire to my wife and put it on a car that had three other normal tires. Also, they told her oil looked black and recommended an oil. Just FYI people, this is non-sense, oil being black alone does not mean it's time for a change. When I noticed my wife's car had a crazy AT tire with three normal tires, I went back to the store to ask them to take the tire back and seek a compromise. All the owner could say is "well I showed her the tire." All I can say is, as a auto repair place to the novice person, a tire is a tire. Selling a super premium off road tire that messes up the cars balance and alignment is not just a bad faith deal, it's deceptive, greedy, and out right breaks trust. I'd steer clear of this place, no pun intended.

Firestone Cedar Hill is one of the absolute best Mechanical shops that I’ve ever dealt with Mr ash and Nick very professional everything. They said they’re gonna do they do do and the rates are so very reasonable. Most importantly they know what they’re doing and I know when I take a car to them. View on GoogleIt appears that this may be a franchised location because they didn't offer the same pricing or service that other Firestones offer. Specifically, they don't offer the lifetime wheel alignment. It seems to be a one man shop. By that I mean they appear to be very understaffed. The guy that family came in to greet me from the garage, looked like he was working on the cars and the front desk. The lobby has nice furnishings but is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. I ended up leaving and going to the DeSoto location.
View on GoogleOn a busy weekend afternoon, the other providers were unable to install a battery, and do an oil change on an imported vehicle (Jaguar). They were recommended by Mavis Tire (formerly NTB), and I drove the short distance and was greeted in the parking lot. The service advisor was kind, communicated well, confident, listened and the provided both with a short wait. He also showed me the status of the oil and put the old battery in my trunk for the core refund. They respect women, and treat you with intelligence. My car drove like a champ afterwards. This is the former Firestone under new management and ownership. The waiting area is spacious, airy, easy parking in front, and the service providers were fast and efficient. Their price point was very good for the service provided, actually, better than the corporate owned providers. Give them a try. They also sell tires and provide brake service and general maintenance and repairs.
