We have brought our cars here now for a couple of years and couldn’t be happier. Edgar is always so nice and responsive, and goes above and beyond to do a good job. Last time he even fixed my center console that was broken without even mentioning it or charging me. Such nice people, great work, and fair prices. I highly recommend them!

Set up appointment, got right in and serpentine belt was changed. I asked Edgar to show me my old belt so I could see the damage; he accommodated my request. I've used Old Town for many years and have been consistently pleased with their work. They've always been on target with diagnosis, repair, and reasonable pricing. Edgar, who manages the office, is very knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, honest, and willingly answers all my questions. I couldn't feel more secure with car repairs than with Edgar and Raul who is the owner.

I cannot say enough good things about Old Town Automotive. This morning started off incredibly stressful—my car wouldn’t start, and with zero mechanical experience, I was completely overwhelmed. After calling roadside assistance and getting a jump, I was told the battery was most likely the issue. Not really knowing what to do next, I went to the closest mechanic shop, which just so happened to be Old Town Automotive across the street from my apartment—and I’m so glad I did. I called the shop while on my way and explained what had happened. The manager was tremendously helpful right from the start. He immediately reassured me, explained that it was most likely the battery, and walked me through multiple options. He clearly laid out all pricing, labor costs, and what to expect before I even arrived. That level of transparency alone was impressive. When I got to the shop, I was met with the same kindness and patience. He explained everything again in detail, let me know he would fully check the car, and we agreed that if it was the battery, he would replace it. Later, while I was at work, I realized I also needed an oil change. I simply called, gave my name and car information, and asked to add it on—no hassle at all. Once again, I was told exactly what the cost and labor would be. He called me as soon as my car was ready, and when I arrived, it was parked out front waiting for me. My favorite part? When he handed me the receipt, it matched exactly what he had told me earlier. No surprises. No hidden fees. No unnecessary upselling. Just honesty. That’s when I truly knew I had found a trustworthy and reliable mechanic. Old Town Automotive operates with integrity, transparency, and outstanding customer service—especially for someone like me who doesn’t have car knowledge and really appreciates clear communication. This will absolutely be my go-to shop moving forward, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, dependable mechanic.

Edgar was very helpful and patient with me. I had Old Town Automotive put in an oxygen sensor in my 2014 Honda CRV. They did quickly and correctly at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

Have been using Edgar and crew for the past five years. As long as I remain in Carrollton, this is where my cars will go for tender loving care. Won't do anything that doesn't need to be done, but will point out potential issues and let me decide when/how to address them. Plus, I LOOOOOOVE that he's closed the week of Thanksgiving and the weeks of Christmas/New Years so he and his staff can be with family. I GLADLY support this business!
