I was referred by a mechanic friend to try out Performance Auto and Diesel Repair. My issues were for a water pump needing to be replaced and timing chain repair, and the experience was exceptional. The team was friendly, attentive, and clearly committed to delivering high-quality work. They kept me informed throughout the process and treated my vehicle with great care. View on GoogleTook my 2003 chevy truck for a sensor install and he decided to do other things to my truck and destroyed my motor. Blamed it on other things and said it wasn't him. Took the truck running got it back with a blown piston! I do not recommend this guy to work on LS.
View on GoogleFor the most part, the shop did what they had in the estimate for the work on my 2007 duramax. They were a few things that they charged me for and that I also specifically asked for, that they did not do or communicate with me on the reasons why Ex. (Asked and was billed for a 5” exhausted and got a 4”, asked for all fluids to be flushed and replace but did not do the transfer case, front CV shafts were replaced but the 4wd actuator was never re-programmed to work correctly so I did that myself) Ultimately minor things in my eyes, but the fact that we paid for work that wasn’t done, and the fact I live 10hrs away makes it hard for me to let them correct. Should have been done right the first time being they had the truck for a month.
