$1,400 of lies. Before Joe Gentry passed this shop was honest and reliable. But now it’s under different owners and it’s fly by night mechanics. Dishonest. Knows it is wrong does it anyway. Do the $1,400 tune up first. Then find out it’s the $60 sensor and don’t have time for the ten minute sensor job. Asked them to fix the sensor. When they did the tune up so I don’t have to pay for the same labor twice. They refused giving lame excuse it will reset itself after tune up. Still misfiring after tuneup. 2021 gladiator. Maybe I did not need coils and spark plugs. Maybe I only needed the cam sensor. Total rip off.

I have used just about every automotive repair place in Montgomery and Conroe and Gentry’s Automotive is by far the best experience out of them all. Steve is a sweetheart of a guy and his employees are rock solid, and top shelf all the way. His pricing was far lower than any pricing I could find in the area And he does it all, they did a great job with my Mercedes, The really good with BMWs, he’s the best diesel mechanic in Texas by far, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The Shop floor is so clean you could eat off of it. Thank you Steve for everything you’ve done for me over the years, greatly appreciated. My advice is to not go anywhere else, but Gentry’s Automotive.

Made an appointment 3/20 to drop my truck off Monday 3/24 for a check engine light diagnostic. Took them from Monday to Friday just to find the problem, could have probably done it faster if they would have actually worked on it Tuesday and Wednesday. Sat in their parking lot doing nothing more than twice as long as the time they spent actually diagnosing the vehicle. That was just to find the problem, not actually fixing it. Never even told me my truck was done after diagnosed, even though I popped up the day before and told them that it had been too long and I need my truck back now

I can't thank them enough for helping us out . We are traveling from North Carolina to Texas back to North Carolina when one of our struts went out on our promaster plus a tyre. Had gone to several places where nobody could help us or didn't have a bay big enough for our promaster .We were recommend to Gentry Autos. They replaced our strut within the hour and was back on the road ( Got new tyres 5 minutes away from there shop).Thank you again for professional service .
