Hesitant to use mobile mechanic. But was pleasantly surprised. Very professional well mannered and did not leave a mess. I would definitely recommend Tim and would use him again if needed. He Replaced my alternator in my Honda.
View on GoogleWe had a sound coming from our rear drivers side wheel as we arrived in Gatlinburg for vacation. I called Tim the next morning, and he drove all the way up the mountain to our condo that afternoon and found that the caliper was broken and needed to be replaced. He ordered the caliper and came back the next morning, found that the pads also needed to be replaced because they had worn unevenly from the caliper. He went back down the mountain again to get pads and fixed them both quickly. He was honest, friendly, and communicated very well. It was super helpful to have him come to us, because most mechanic shops were booked out, and this way we could go swimming and hang out in our condo while waited for the car to be repaired. I was expecting higher prices since he came to us, but it was about what I would expect to pay at a mechanic shop. I would recommend Tim (Poppa Bear Mobile Mechanic) to anyone on vacation who needs a car repair ASAP.
View on GoogleI had a spark plug issue and was unable to drive my truck. I called Poppa Bear Mobile Mechanic yesterday (Sumfay) to see when he could come look and repair. He came out on Sunday and worked on it. Then came back this morning and finished up. He was very prifessional and showed me what was going on with the truck as he did it. I would recommend Timothy Caster to anyone with car issues. I give him a 100% rating.

I called this mobile mechanic and he actually took the time to chat with me over the phone before making the trip. Based on my description and the OBD codes, he correctly diagnosed it as a likely bad lifter. Instead of just rushing out to charge a diagnostic fee, he gave me solid, honest advice on what to listen for, why this is a common issue with GM vehicles, and explained my options (like an AFM delete). Because he didn't just chase a quick buck and was genuinely helpful over the phone, he’s earned all my future business!
