Yesterday I was on my way to my Dad’s in NC. 60 miles out I got a warning like that my car was overheating and I saw steam coming from underneath the hood. I couldn’t understand why as I had just had my oil changed and fluids topped off. So I get off the next exit and pull into a Pilot station. I opened the hood and the radiator cap was not put back on. I called AAA for service. They gave me a 4 hr wait till they could get there. About 2 hrs in of waiting a young man pulled up and asked if I needed help… he was an auto mechanic. I was so excited…YES please. He called AutoZone, they had a cap and coolant fluid. He went to pickup the items and came back with the cap and fluid filled up the coolant reservoir and put the cap back on. How happy I was! His name is Jason Staley of Staley’s Automotive.
