Pontarellis' Automotive Marine

Ponterellis did a transmission mount on a 2014 dodge pro master van. Had a transmission mount replaced (so I was told). Less than a month later the mounting bolts snapped when I put in drive to go to work. Another garage looked at it and now the transmission is finished. There’s about $10,000 worth of damage. My boss, who is the owner of the van, is furious and I haven’t been called back to work yet because of the van situation. Looking at the bolts it looked like the old bolts were put back in (I say looked like). I honestly thought they were a good mechanic shop. I’ve lost 2 months of wages. Possibly my career. If anyone asks me if you guys are good, I’d have to tell them what happened. Just tell me how I’m gonna get the money I’m loosing from wages. You’ve ruined my life. -5 stars.

I was looking for four years for a specific truck. I had found one in upstate PA and put a refundable deposit on it. I decided a couple days beforehand to check Auto Trader one last time. I am so very glad that I did! That is when I saw a truck newly listed on the site. It was exactly what I was looking for!!! I immediately inquired as it was a very desirable vehicle, and I knew it would not last long. I spoke to Brian, and we made arrangements to see the truck that day. Brian was very pleasant, gave me an excellent description of the truck and answered all of my technical questions. He has had several people that have worked for him for decades and you can see that they are not just a business but a family. That said a lot to me about Brian and the person he is. I arrived at his shop later that afternoon and the truck was on the lift getting the oil changed. I fell in love with the truck right away and you could see how clean the undercarriage was!! Needless to say, I canceled the deposit on the other truck. I knew I had found the right one and needn't look any further. I knew before I even got behind the wheel! Brian and I took the truck for a test drive, and we immediately hit it off. We were both car guys. The truck was tight as a drum and drove beautifully!! I was really excited as I had finally found the right truck. I searched all over the country only to find one in my back yard! Brian was extremely honest and fair. After the test drive, we shook hands, and he gave me a firm grip. He was a true gentleman. He gave me time to figure everything out and come to a decision. It made all the difference in the world. He had dozens of inquiries on the truck because of what it is, but he truly is an old school guy with integrity. it is rare nowadays but that still means something to me. He said I was the first to call and see it and wanted to honor that. Even up to the day I picked it up, he was getting inquiries. I believe he had over 60 in total!! I came back to pick up the truck and it was all ready to go!! He gave me an incredible deal and I am head over heels in love with my Chevy Z71!! I hope that I have been able to put into words my great experience with Brian and Pontarelli's Automotive Marine, they are a wonderful group, and it was a great experience all around!!! I was looking for a place to do an inspection on my motorcycle that was somewhat close to where I live. I found out that Pontarelli’s was only a five minute drive. Stopped by on a Friday morning to ask when they had an opening on their schedule and I was told that they could take care of it that same day in the afternoon if that worked for me. I’m a contractor, and extremely busy at the moment so and was not expecting them to say bring it right over and we will take care of it for you. Brought the bike over and couldn’t ask for a better experience. Unfortunately, I walked in and everyone was eating lunch. They were all extremely nice and took care of me right away. They were talking to me like we knew each other and were friends for awhile. Very unexpected, but very appreciated!!! Felt bad that I walked in when they were eating lunch, told them I was in no hurry, but they jumped right on it. Very nice people, great service, reasonable prices. Very happy that I found this shop. Thank You!!!

I called earlier this morning about needing my tire plugged. I was told to bring it by around 4:45. I left work early, lost money out of my paycheck, called prior to coming and was told that they wouldn’t see me today. Disappointed because this would’ve been my first time here and have heard really great things
