My experiences at Mr. Tire ( Fox Chapel ) is always great. The manager Mr. Michael lyons is fantastic and always knowledgeable about your vehicle. His technicians are superb. The Facility is always very clean.
View on GoogleI bought a set of two new tires here 6 months ago. One of them developed a sidewall bubble about 2 months in. That points to a manufacturing defect, which the tire maker covers for free under their workmanship warranty. Instead of filing a defect claim, this shop ran it through the road hazard insurance I paid extra for and charged me $137 for the replacement, including new road hazard insurance. They also refused to return my old tire, so I have no way to get it independently inspected or send it to the manufacturer myself. I paid extra for protection and ended up paying again for a tire that was likely defective from the start. I will be filing complaints with Monro corporate and the tire manufacturer. If you go here, get everything in writing before you pay and skip the protection plan.
View on GoogleFamily owned and it shows. I was stuck, dead battery after the big freeze this weekend. I stopped at two other places- no dice. Called these guys up and they said come on over. Replaced my battery quickly and added some funny dad jokes along the way. Haven’t found a place in PGH for the past ten years I’ve lived here. Now I know where to go and where to tell everyone else who asks. Thanks again- wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleHit ice and slid catching debris beneath my vehicle last night. Went to Mr Tire and explained what happened. They put it up on the rack. Long story short, no major damage. The protector plate had some light damage. They fixed it. Was affordable. I recommend them 👌 👍 They were friendly & professional.
View on GoogleHad a flat tire. My car dealer told me they don’t repair my type of tire and a replacement would cost $500+ and since it’s not something they stock wouldn’t be for about a week. Josh looked at it and said it was repair-able and given it’s a pretty new tire, recommended I give it a shot. One week later and it’s still holding very well and cost me less than $50. He did an amazing job juggling the repair as well as other customers. He was zipping around managing all the phone calls, deliveries and other customers coming in and out all with a smile on his face and never complaining about being short staffed (which was obvious since one person doing front office work AND repairs at the same time). He didn’t even stop for a break or to eat lunch! I wanted to leave him a tip but their credit card machine doesn’t allow for that and he was super humble about it. He said he was thankful for the thought and suggested I just do something kind for someone else in need if given the opportunity. Someone definitely raised this man right. I’m grateful he squeezed in my repair. Thanks Joshua!
