We have spent a significant amount of money at Lowes over the span of just two weeks, and this is also a place we shop at regularly. Despite that, the level of service we received was incredibly disappointing. You’ve now lost out on another large purchase for my kitchen renovation. Thousands of dollars taken elsewhere—great job losing a loyal customer. Our first delivery (base cabinets and a dishwasher) arrived damaged. After spending over an hour being transferred between multiple employees, we were told replacements would be scheduled. That turned out to be completely inaccurate—no replacements were arranged, and instead a refund was issued with zero communication. The second delivery was even worse. There was no call, no knock—just cabinets dumped on our front lawn. One cabinet arrived completely out of the box, scratched and visibly damaged, and several others came in damaged packaging. With rain approaching, we were left scrambling to protect everything ourselves. When I contacted the store, I was transferred multiple times, placed on hold repeatedly, and ultimately hung up on. There is clearly no ownership, no communication, and no respect for customers. To make matters worse, I am currently pregnant and physically unable to move heavy cabinets. I explained this situation and still received no assistance. I was told no one could come back. This is not just poor service—it’s a complete failure in basic customer care and logistics. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. Customer service at this company is severely lacking. There is no accountability, no communication, and no care for the customer experience. P.S. This review applies to both the Monroeville and Homestead locations. The first order was handled through the Monroeville store, and the second through the Homestead location. Unfortunately, the same issues—lack of communication, poor coordination, and inadequate customer service—were consistent across both stores, as well as at the company level overall.

I am 70 years old. In great shape having landscaped for 40 years… But… I am 70 years old! Been a loyal Lowes customer for all those 40 years and have spent many hundreds of thousands of dollars between my landscape business and my rental properties in New Hampshire , Florida and now Pittsburgh. Yesterday, I go down to Lowes on the waterfront to buy 10 sections of stockade fence. They have piles right outside where I could easily load them directly onto my trailer. So I go in and ask if I could pay for them and load them up and they say no. So I asked for the Manager. Manager says sorry you have to walk from the garden centre all the way down to lumber get the proper cart come all the way back to the garden centre load up your 10 sections of fence and then pull it all the way through the store to the registers and then when you exit pull it all the way back down to your trailer, which is parked at the garden centre! I’m 70 years old! Now this would take two carts at minimum probably three because it can’t be a flat bed since you would never be able to pull that through the aisles in the store. So I left and I drove to Home Depot , pulled my trailer up to their outside pile of fencing , loaded it on my trailer , walked in the store paid for the fence and went on my way to the job site. That’s over $1000 that Lowes lost because they couldn’t be a little flexible for a 70-year-old man who has a Pro account at Lowes and has been a loyal customer for over 40 years. Pathetic.

Lowes is a amazing store for DIY. It's exciting to go in here and see the tools, equipment, materials and others must haves for home improvement. I always walk around looking at stuff and get ideas for projects. Great staff and multitude of whatever you need for property. You will be glad you came here. 💯

Went to Lowe's for (2) 1.5" sl x sl pvc ball valves. None in stock. Put glue and pipe back and left. On the way out I noticed all self service checkout. This is BS! If I'm doing everything myself I want 10 % off. Why should the CEO get a raise? On my way to HD now. I will now go to HD first and skip lowes. They also don't carry Rustoleum or any spray paint. This store is a clown 🤡 show.

I ordered some tools. I got many emails they were in. When I went to get them, three of them were not there yet, one of them at another store which I was told I'd have to go get. I thought I was on candid camera or I was being punked. Not happy lowes improvement.
