We took my husband's truck to have the rear fender worked on. They cut out the rusted area and patched it. You can see the seams, which should have been sanded down. The paint on that side is really bad, barely coming close to the color of the rest of the truck. We rejected it the first time, but the second time wasn't much better. Below are pics of 1st time and final product. Very disappointing!!

For a place that does "rust repair" with "cheaper to keep 'er" as their slogan, they aren't very good at it. They don't repair doors, hoods, nor tailgates, even on older classic vehicles that still have quality metal. The guy said "we consider those replaceable parts." Replacing parts like that on a 1994 isn't something that's easily done when a little repair is entirely possible. When pressed further why they changed because they said in September that they could, he said they've gotten "too many complaints." The whole point in repair is not to replace unless repair is impossible. They just aren't as capable as their website leads you to believe. I had them replace all pinch welds on my car years ago in 2021. They claimed they would do it all for $1200. Instead, they only did the pinch welds from mid way back, ignoring the front altogether. They called me to say they needed to buy all new body clips for the plastic along this lower edge because they all broke off. Totally understandable given those aren't designed to be removed and they were 15 years old. However, they failed to drill most of the needed mounting holes to attach the plastic trim they needed the clips for, so most of it isn't attached, just at the front and back only. They also claimed they leave the car on the rack when you come to pick up so they can show you their work. They said they would have it racked at the time I gave them for pickup but it wasn't when I showed up and refused citing "it's already in use." The art of metal fabrication and repair isn't something this place seems capable of. EDIT: To their response, set expectations and offer better service if someone will agree to the price. The Good/Fast/Cheap Venn diagram comes to mind. You're locked on Fast and Cheap, so Good is impossible. The statement about replacement being better is just nonsense when talking about a classic vehicle as replacements are normally reproductions and aren't the same as the OEM. Keeping 90% of an OEM fender and not worrying about showroom-quality work is something you should have the customer consider. "We're trying to fabricate strong and economic friendly patches, not full OEM ICAR certified restoration." The fact that you went to such an extreme example is laughable. When I asked for all pinch-welds replaced, your policy was never disclosed. It was also never disclosed that you added the clips but didn't mount all of them. Why not paint them, line them up, dab them on the steel, then drill where they touched, or at minimum communicate it to the customer? The racking of the vehicle to review repairs was a promise initiated by the shop and pickup time was scheduled, communicated to the shop, and occurred on time. You just weren't prepared and displayed poor communication through the whole process. Credit where it's due, the work was completed and it's still holding up. Just work on communication and have some humility. Not everyone that comes into your shop is incapable of understanding your line of work, yet you withhold information like they are.

**Edit to owner's reply**: Ron flat out accused me of lying, so please don't argue that you "value customer service". And a standard garage caught countless holes that RRI failed to catch, so please don't argue you provide "quality service". Ron the manager even told me "we wouldn't have done the descale/rust proof if we saw this". So please don't claim "NO estimate for fabrication repairs was made"--your job is to STOP the descaling/rust proofing if you find major corrosion holes that a basic garage is able to find. And this is not a retaliatory review--this is a warning about a rude, unprofessional, and poor quality shop that pays customers $10 to "incentivize people to give us a good review". ________ Summary: Missed major corrosion holes. Manager Ron flat out accused me of lying. Asked to speak to the owner, called me annoying and hung up the phone. Jay the supervisor said we pay people $10 to give us good reviews because we want to "incentivize people to give us a good review" ------------- After Rust Repair's undercoating, my mechanic found massive holes in the car that were left unrepaired. Basically Rust Repair Inc. did the undercoat without finding/looking for the holes. These guys are clearly incompetent if a regular mechanic could find these holes. Originally, the Manager Ron admitted the pictures over email looked really bad. After a few days, Ron flat out accused me of lying. Said that these pictures could be anything. I directly asked Ron if he was accusing me of lying, and he said yes. He said he doesn't see a resemblance to my own vehicle and that I can't prove that it's my car. "Yes, we don't believe you that these are the pictures of the car." Called back to get in contact with the owner. Ron hung up the phone. Called again to ask why he hung up the phone. "Because you're being really annoying and you're not getting your money back". Incompetent, accusatory, and rude! Don't deal with these "professionals" who can't find corrosion holes. They just want your money and won't refund their own incompetent service. I fell for Ron's "professional" demeanor only to find three weeks later that he straight up accused me of lying and called me annoying. Go figure!
