I live in NYC and successfully cloned my PCM 3.1 drive to an SSD but when I purchased the Mr. 12 Volt system from Roman I pretty quickly decided that even though it looked like a fairly straightforward installation I didn't want to get involved in installing it myself. I was travelling a lot at the time and Roman was able to work around my schedule to get me in. After a 90 minute drive I met Roman and he pretty much got right to work. He took great care of my vehicle and allowed me to watch the disassembly of the PCM. It was pretty impressive, I think he could do this with his eyes closed. He did notice that my PCM was missing a couple of parts (from work done on it by a prior owner) and was able to dig into his parts bin to replace the 2 missing pieces. Overall it was an excellent experience and if you are anywhere nearby it was a totally painless experience. The new functionality of the PCM pretty much puts it on par with the PCM on my 2022 Cayman. As a bonus I learned that Roman also runs a full service mechanic shop specializing in diesels on the same premises and does Tunezilla updates. A very good resource to have and not too far from NYC.

Roman took time out of a weekend to fix the rebooting issue and disc drive in my cayman’s PCM 3.1. He also completely re-did the installation of my mr12volt unit and upgraded it to a newer version because he cannot stand to see a job not perfectly done (I had previously had the Mr12volt installed by someone else and it wasn’t up to par). Roman was super friendly, helpful and had tons of expertise on these systems. The 3 hour drive to come get it done by Roman is well worth it for my sanity and peace of mind!

I researched a variety of solutions and the best quality package at this time is the Mr12Volt solution that ACS sells and installs. Roman, the owner of ACS, is a true gentleman: he worked around my mechanic and a hectic schedule to get my install completed at his facility in Hatboro, PA. Roman explained what he’d be doing, things to consider, and gave me a time estimate (fairly quick- especially considering how tight things are behind the dash). His pricing was reasonable given the skill of the install, especially his confidence and speed given how many of these he sells and installs. I highly recommend Automotive Consulting Services, and Roman, for any Mr12Volt sales and install needs.
