View on GoogleI brought my very old car to Morano Brothers because I was planning a long road trip and wanted to make sure it was roadworthy. Initially, they told me it looked like it would need major repairs — understandable, given the age of the car. But after they took a closer look and did some more digging, they discovered the issue wasn’t nearly as serious as they first thought. Instead of pushing unnecessary work, they gave me a much lower quote and explained everything clearly. It’s refreshing to find honest mechanics who actually take the time to get it right rather than just trying to upsell you. The car ran perfectly on the trip, and I’ll definitely be going back to them for any future work. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleDo NOT give these people any of your money. After a car crash last year, I spoke to them about bringing the car to them for an assessment and repairs. The guy I spoke to was rude and arrogant. I kept trying to explain the situation to him, but he would not listen. He insisted the car had been totalled but in fact it had not. In the end we decided not to go with them, and we are very grateful for that. They also have this big American flag at the front of the building, as if to pretend their patriotism makes up for terrible customer service... It doesn't.
View on GoogleHands down the WORST experience I've had at an auto shop. Brought my car in for an electrical problem and they cut a wire without asking me beforehand. This created another issue, which they said they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me. He was baffled they did this and now it's creating more hassle than the original issue. To make matters worse, when I called Morano Brothers to get more information about what they cut, Bob was extremely rude, stating that he had already explained the issue to me several times. Sorry, I'm not a mechanic. And when the Toyota guy is saying what you did made no sense, I'm probably going to have a hard time comprehending and explaining it as well. Long story short - AVOID these guys. They cut wires without asking you, try to screw you by charging you more for issues they created, and are extremely rude when you ask them for explanations.
View on GoogleHad a slight mishap. Another driver hit my driver's side mirror and tour it apart. I went to Morano Brothers for an estimate. We agreed on the price, they ordered the new part and it arrived. I dropped my car off and the work was done is a couple of hours. Mirror looks great. Bob was very friendly, easy to talk to and kept me informed on progress. Will be going back if I ever need body work in the future.
