Costa Oil - 10 Minute Oil Change - Dillsburg

I was looking for a garage that offered reasonably priced oil changes and found Costa Oil in Dillsburg. Even though it's a bit out of the way for me, the 4.7 star rating got my attention and I had to see what that was all about. To say I was delighted is an understatement! From the moment I pulled in, George went completely out of his way to explain their services and treat me like a truly valued customer. He provided such an exceptional, professional level of service that I actually had to ask him if he was the owner! As a picky car enthusiast, I prefer to supply my own specific oil and high-quality filter. They accommodated my request with absolutely zero questions asked. On top of the seamless oil swap, they went above and beyond by topping off my windshield washer fluid and cleaning up my battery terminals. To my surprise, they even handed back the remaining oil left over from my 5-quart jug! All of this incredible, fast, drive-thru service for just $20. Costa Oil has earned a customer for life, and needless to say, I will absolutely be back again. If you want honest, top-tier automotive care without the hassle or high-pressure up-selling, do yourself a favor and see George and the team in Dillsburg!

I had an excellent experience at this location. George and Bubbles were incredibly helpful from start to finish, making the whole process smooth and stress free. I really appreciated the great service and the fact that they use only full synthetic oil, which gives me confidence in the quality of the work. The prices for filters were slightly above what you might expect, but it makes sense considering the convenience of not having to do the job yourself. Derek and “Bubbles” were the Dream Team! Got me in and out in 10 min! Also the price was half of what I always paid at Vavoline and Jiffy lube. Plus the boys there were MAD CHILL. Vavoline every one is so up tight. This had such a relaxed atmosphere!

After dropping my car off elsewhere for an oil change, I was told the drain plug “shot out” and that I needed a new oil pan, costing around $300. They blamed the shop that did my previous change stating that they “overtightened” the plug and caused the damage. I contacted Costa, because they had done my previous oil change, and their manager actually walked over to the other shop to discuss the situation directly. Costa explained that my vehicle has a known issue with its oil pan design (the drain plug insert can fail if removed normally) and the correct procedure is to siphon the oil from the top instead. They said no one should have attempted to remove the plug for that exact reason. In the end, the other shop paid for my new oil pan (despite never admitting fault). I really appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to advocate for me even though the damage did not occur at their shop. It’s rare to find businesses that are knowledgeable and transparent like that. Highly recommend.

I bring my 1500 truck here for full synthetic. They are always a courteous. I’ve gone about 4 times. You can tell how long the wait is by the number of cars. 4 cars in front of you single file then splits into 2 lanes for the 2 bays. It’s about a 10-15 min wait. They are right around 10 minutes per oil change.
