I had an intermittent problem with my 1995 Ford Mustang GT. Shannon’s mechanics troubleshot it for several days until finding the issue. I was only charged for the repair time and needed part. I wasn’t charged for the hours of other labor trying to identify the issue. Really great customer service with polite and informative communication. I would highly recommend Steve Shannon’s in Danville.

Noticed oil leaking onto my driveway. Called Nate at SShannon, in Danville, and he helped me the very next day. Diagnosed issue. Problem fixed! Kind, polite and direct. Been going there for a couple of years now with my 2007 vw jetta, and they've never failed to help me out quickly and efficiently! Highly recommend this Danville, Steve Shannon in particular. Customer Service is top notch, too!

Excellent service for a recent alternator replacement needed to keep my daughter's car running at a most inopportune time - the big snowstorm. But the staff at Steve Shannon's in Danville were timely in getting the repair done and more than accommodating in keeping the car out of the elements through the storm. Great staff to work with and highly recommended!

Ok...long story but here we go. Last week, called to have a flat tire replaced. I wanted a new tire, simple. Was quoted $103, no problem. They call the next day and tell me the car is done. Go in, they tell me it just had a small leak by the valve stem. Cost around $31 to fix. Great! Off I went. 2 days later, go outside to find the same tire flat on the rim. Obviously, a new tire like I asked would have been better. So.... Call them back, they have me bring it back in. Guy at the counter asks what's wrong with the tire. Dude....you guys just "fixed" it, you tell me! So, we are back to needing a new tire. Fine. "I don't know what tire they quoted you, but we don't carry any tires for $103". Well, I'm not pulling prices out of thin air, Skippy. You gave me the price. So, I drop it off the second time. They call me at the end of the day and say "yeah, this tire can't be repaired, you're going to need a new tire." No shit! So, if it can't be fixed, what about the $31 for fixing the tire that can't be fixed? "We can give you part of that back." Part?! Well, they refunded the entire repair I didnt want off the cost of the new tire with installation that I did want. Now, don't you think someone would call you to let you know your car is done? Nope. I'll call to find that out. Then you can lie to my face and say you called the day before, but the amazing thing about cell phones is the caller ID. Oh yeah, and I have voicemail too, but you can't leave one of those if you don't call. With garage labor costs skyrocketing (one garage raised their rates from $85 to $175 / hour in the last year), I think it's time to start shopping around. You had an opportunity to earn a local and potentially loyal customer, and you blew it.

Excellent experience. The staff was hard working, thorough, and repaired my car quickly. Nat, the General Manager, explained the repairs I needed in good detail. I feel very confident I received quality repairs at an excellent price. I'm going to return there next week for tires and I am going to send all my vehicles there for oil changes or any repairs as they come up. Thanks guys!
