Iarrapino's Muffler & Brake Shop

Mark did work on my brothers c300 and the work was outstanding. Decided to bring my car in and get a new exhaust and muffler system and it sounds amazing. 100% worth the 40 minute drive.

If you are in need of exhaust work please do yourself a favor and steer clear of Iarrapino Muffler and Brake Shop. I took my vehicle to there shop to get a performance exhaust made and gave them a few simple and reasonable request. Upon arrival I spoke with the owner Mark Sr. and explained to him what I was looking to accomplish and he assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Once they pulled the vehicle into the shop I was informed that the owners son Mark Jr. was going to be working on my vehicle. Let me just say Mark Jr. has no business working on peoples cars as he has no consideration for there request and or there vehicle, damage was caused and every single request I had was ignored. I drove the car the rest of the weekend after leaving the shop and paying $440. The following Monday I was able to put the car on a lift and inspect the work that was done and found that all my brand new factory mounts and hangers that were just put on were removed and the pipe was half ass welded to the $500 turbo down pipe that was just installed (I requested that this was joined with a stainless exhaust sleeve that I provided so it was serviceable) also the wrong muffler was installed. I immediately called Mark Sr. to see how we could rectify the issue. I was told to come back the following Saturday and we agreed that I was going to be refunded what I payed and they were going to return everything to how I brought it to them. When I returned to have it removed unfortunately Mark Jr. was the only one there to do it, although he was the one that caused the problems I received attitude from him and could tell he was upset that he had to remove it. The tool he chose to remove the piping was a Sawzall which was appropriate however since he was upset and wanted to express his anger to me he was much less than careful and ended up puncturing holes and cutting into the underneath of the car (attached pictures). Also he had to grind the weld off the pipe connecting to the turbo down pipe, in doing so he damaged it and it will now need replaced (attached pictures). In the end I was refunded $350 and I still need to replace and repair the damaged pieces. Please learn from my mistake and do not do business with this shop. They have been around for many years and unfortunately from what I have gathered from my experience is that the owner Mark Sr. is less involved with the business and perhaps its time for them to hang it up.

Excellent Service today as always... I had the shop replace two front half shafts on the front suspension... 160,000 mile Subaru Outback and its back to a nice riding car again.... I highly recommend Mark and his crew!

They always do an amazing job and are honest guys down there. Have helped me out probably 4 times now with different things from installs to repairs. I highly Recommend

My own fault ...last 3 times I've taken my vehicle there for repairs repairs never last. They only patch exhaust if you don't say what's wrong and you want a whole new system you end up with crap. They say it's cheap...well not if you figure on going back every week you may as well go to a well known garage thats more money and have a system that last thats how they make there money cheap fast crap. Last time I left there I ask how long would repairs last the manager just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know. Next day the leak came back and I noticed some jb weld on crossover pipe and leaking again. Gave them too many chances never will see no business from me again. Don't go there unless you don't mind going back over and over for the same problem you'll spend way more in the long run. I would have given no stars or negative stars if I could.
