My day began with my transmission on my 2002 4Runner having some kind of epic failure and dumping massive amounts of fluid on the ground, while in line to pick up coffee. Then it wouldn’t budge. We’ve all been there. Dollar signs started to add up as I could only imagine the repairs. Was it time to finally throw in the towel on my trusty friend? I’d been going to the same dealership for 20+ years and even purchased four cars from them. But there had been some missed connections as of late. I began to question integrity and value. So I took a deep breath and searched transmission repair near me. I expected low ratings as most individuals are not in a good mood about car repairs to begin with. I was surprised to see Boyd’s in Westerville at 4.8 stars and over one thousand ratings. 5 hours later and I got my beloved 4Runner back and running great! The tow cost $145 with another company. I was shocked at how reasonable Boyd’s was: $159!! Can you believe that?? I expected to pay hundreds probably $500 and up at the dealership. And to be fixed the same day when they were booked up. Jonathan who answered my call was kind and professional. He understood I was in a pinch and did all he could to help and expedite my repair. We’d been getting the run around on my wife’s minivan on squealing brakes from the dealership. They had us purchase new rotars, blamed the pads, found mangled shims (they are the only shop to touch this vehicle) and blamed the grade of our driveway for the problem, and never fixed it. They insisted that it was normal! But it didn’t make noise like that when we bought it brand new from them! We won’t be going back. Boyd’s has won my business and glad to support this bright star among automotive repair shops!

We have mini Jeep (essentially a go cart) tire that frequently has thorn punctures in it. It was difficult finding a business that would work on it. Boyd's has been incredibly accommodating and has fixed a tire from this mini Jeep probably 4-5 times. They go above and beyond, always friendly, always a fast turn around. I'm so thankful for them.
