I absolutely love Spencer Automotive! I took my Audi Q7 to the dealership for a diagnosis, and they told me there was an issue that would cost almost $1,500 to fix. Something told me to get a second opinion, so I brought my car to Spencer Automotive since they specialize in foreign vehicles. It turned out that all my car needed was a new battery! They were honest, straightforward, and truly cared about helping me rather than overcharging me. My Audi has been running perfectly ever since. I’m so thankful I found them and will recommend Spencer Automotive to anyone. They’ve definitely earned my trust!

I have been going here for many years, since 2015, and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Dave and Andy are honest, reliable and trustworthy. They are very reasonably priced and I can’t recommend Spencer Automotive enough. I have all of my normal maintenance along with all other repairs done by them. Above and beyond great service and they have kept my well-loved 2009 Mini Cooper in awesome condition.

This is the place to go. I do as much work on my own cars as I can, but if a job arises I always take it to Spencer. I have had jobs come back lower than their quote, and I have always been provided honest feedback and recommendations to maintain my cars. I have never felt upsold, or pressured into anything. They have always been timely, friendly and honest. I cannot recommend them enough. Customer service and mechanical service are both deserving of 5 Stars.

I used to take all of my foreign vehicles to Spencer Automotive back when it was Stakely Automotive, and I always had great experiences with the team there. The service was personal, dependable, and you could actually pick up the phone and talk to someone who cared about helping you. That old-school customer service is what kept me coming back. Unfortunately, since the business changed ownership, the experience has been completely different. Now when you call, you’re routed to what feels like another automated system or voicemail, and then… silence. Messages don’t get returned, and it’s frustrating when all you’re trying to do is schedule service for your vehicle. It’s honestly disappointing to see how quickly things can change after new ownership takes over. Whatever happened to simply having a real person answer the phone? Customer service still matters. Because of that experience, I ended up finding another specialty mechanic over in Hilliard who actually answers the phone and is happy to help. Wishing the new owners the best, but I definitely miss the way things used to be.

Only place you should be taking your car for auto repairs. They located the “strange noise” on the car. They offered to replace the exhaust but, referred me to another shop because they do quality work and can do it for cheaper. How awesome is that? Especially nowadays. They reassured me the car is in good working condition and overall no safety concerns. This place is great, honest, and I will forever take my vehicles here for future inspections/repairs.
