Rutherford kept me up to date every step of the way. Even went above and beyond contacting multiple dealerships in different states after receiving a needed part that was damaged 3x. Then Ford indicating part on back order.

Well here it goes years ago I had a good experience and decided to give these people another shot against my insurance recommendations. After about three weeks I called because I hadn’t heard anything to find out they had been updating me all along through email that only included a name and unfamiliar name (not the business name ) so of course I never opened them they look like spam emails to me. I never spoken with this lady and I was supposed to know who she was, she made sure she “checked me”!! Ok let’s move forward I was called to say my vehicle was ready for pick up, this lady also questioned did I have the money/check from insurance? If insurance didn’t pay you, you know the customer must pay, I don’t expect to walk out your shop with my vehicle without paying , I dont expect you will even hand me my keys until your paid..fast forward I pick up my vehicle drive away only to realize that there’s a noise when making a right turn (yes I work in healthcare not automotive repairs and noticed this within 5 mins) called the so called experts who state they test drove it and don’t know what I’m talking about. I also realized my steering is off, but that rude guy Chris I spoke with states “we don’t do work for free” we will contact your insurance to see if they will approve it. You have had my vehicle for almost a month my expectations are that when you call and say you’re vehicle is ready then it’s completely ready. Body looks good, but you allowed me to drive off your lot with an incomplete repair over $17,000 of work and you have the nerve to say we ain’t doing anything for free!! You don’t need to deal with customers, your rude and nasty Chris whoever you are!

From start to finish, we had a very positive experience with Rutherford Auto Body. We were kept informed along the way, during every step of the process, the car was finished a day earlier than promised and the work was excellent! The customer service was impressive as well, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

Terrible shop. They did a repair on my vehicle back in Jan of 2023, had the car for 3 months. Got the car back and they scratched the car up! Inside the gas tank was scratched, roof was scratched (which they were able to buff out) and trunk hinges were not fully painted. To their credit they at least touched this up. However, the Car does not drive right, (they say it drives fineh backup camera does not line up and the frame damage they “fixed” is not up to OEM specs (per Honda!). Furthermore, the trunk they repaired now leaks and the spare wheel compartment has nasty and unclean weld marks inside. I have been complaining but they never seem to find the issues (despite me having video of the trunk leaking, they were not interested in video) they claim Honda has sent them defective backup camera THREE times. Obviously that’s just not very plausible. Car will not hold alignment and they say that’s not their problem. Angie the front end lady was rude, they also lied to me and INSURANCE on a recorded line saying my car was at Tuffy’s… it was not! Tuffy never has even touched the car. The shop they sent the car to even said the frame was never fixed right by bodyshop. The attached photos show the scratches inside the gas tank and the camera being OBVIOUSLY misaligned. Furthermore this shop charged $500 for some simple body clips, really? Unacceptable

2nd time using Rutherford Auto Body. In my experiences they have exibited the highest level of integrity, treated me in a friendly manner, were accomodating in scheduling and professional in coordinating with my insurance company. Most important of all, the quality of their work is exceptional. End results look like original factory condition! Highly recommend them.
