Williams Norwalk Tire & Alignment

This was my first time visiting this shop, and I had a great experience. I came in for low tire pressure in the rear right tire, and they found the problem very quickly, which was a nail in the tire, and patched it right up. I wasn’t even charged, which was so kind of them and I will be returning!

Been a while now, but I had a vehicle in this shop for a simple brake bleed. The vehicle was around 30 years old at the time, so when they had issues bleeding due to a faulty ABS block I wasn’t too upset and was able to find a replacement. They were unable to get the replacement working completely, which being a used part for a 30 year old car I understand. Basically the brakes worked but the ABS would not. I told them I was comfortable with the condition the car was in and would not want them doing any further diagnosis or work on it due to being confident in driving a vehicle with standard brakes. The person on the phone continued to argue with me and threatened to withhold my vehicle. I explained to them I understood the ABS would not work and during times of heavy braking or in the case of slippery conditions the brakes could/would lock up. After about 5-10 minutes of back and forth I told them I could sign a waiver but I wanted my car back. They charged me over $700 to install the provided part and bleed the brakes. At this point I really didn’t care about the high price I just wanted my car back. I then drove the car for about a day and when left idling the car severely overheated. This car has never overheated in its 30 years and no electrical work has been recently done on this vehicle. When checking the car I noticed the cooling fan was not running. I checked the fuses and noticed the fuse for the fan was removed. I reiterate this car never had an issue overheating and I know for a fact prior to dropping this car off at Williams the cooling fan was working, and after replacing the fuse the fan worked without issue and no further overheating issues have occurred. I do not know if they removed the fuse in ignorance or malice but I do know none of my vehicles will ever be brought back here and I will never recommend this shop to anyone.

William's is always reliable and quick. I can call them with the tiniest problem, and they'll give me fair prices and can usually get my car into the shop within a week! And their deals on tires are well worth it. Cannot recommend them enough. Awesome people, exceptional work.

They are always reasonably priced, get me in quickly and do the repairs right. Never had a problem or complaint here. Nice people to work with.

Always do a great job at a fair price. My dealership tried to charge me twice the price for brakes….great staff, really good people you can trust.
