Toyota Service

I'm questioning what they do! 1.) I changed my cabin and engine filters, then I took my vehicle to the shop for another service. The multi inspection report said that my filters are bad and I need to change them??? I brought it to the managers attention and he said it's a master technician who inspected so he couldn't be wrong??? 2.) I've been a long time customer, each time I call to make an appointment, they asked me to provide all my information including my email, phone number, address etc. I should already be in the system!!! After all these years I think I'm ready to move on elsewhere for my vehicle service.

I had to call the ftc they kept loosening the bolts after aligning the car, so I would have to come back in and get another, 3 in one month going on 4 took it to Toyota west had an official Toyota inspection corporate guy fly here from out of state at Toyota west we met up for the inspection just to have him say the alignment was bad, Toyota west gave me a free alignment and guess what it stayed aligned for 25,000 miles before I hit one too many potholes, I reported them to the BBB after I got an oil change and walked out to my car and my from right tire was basically cambered, I yelled at the branch manager and said, make that make sense !?, looking back I should of called the cops, (I bought the car from their dealership brand new 2024 109 miles off lot) sales team was amazing, best car buying experience with salesperson/s I ever had, but the service department are insane, on my next oil change, I pulled into the service bay to see if they would do it again, they said “since you reported us to the BBB we can’t work on your car, I laughed in the contract I signed says you owe me this amount of service for this amount of miles, and they said “ sorry” that’s when I reported everything to the ftc, to breaking contracts conducting illegal business practice, to endangering my life buy tampering with my car’s warranty and ability and safety capabilities And the FTC forcing them to write me a check for 350$ and then, disrespectful service staff who gas light you and when ur done taking it and negate them, lash out at you, on my second, alignment in less than 2 weeks I explain my car dropped “ 2 inches from a paved to unpaved road“ and it stopped driving straight, the service manager told me “ you keep hitting things ur gunna keep paying “ that’s when I stood my ground and said nah man 2 inches!?, he got pissed and passively aggressively threw two chocolate bars at my chest in impulse and turned bright red in frustration and embarrassment with himself for slipping, he was the type of guy people had to walk on egg shells around because I saw him explode at his employees under him, and tried to burry that side of him with customers but slipped with me, I smirked and walked away, the secretary who take calls always answers as if she hates her job, and is always disrespected when she has to do her job, this place is worse than a Indian scam call center because the ignorant one’s who fall for these gaslights due to blissful ignorance to how vehicles workings and, vehicle financial workings are conducted, I encourage everyone to study up on the ftc, your rights as a consumer, and explore many other people and places to find the baseline of what to expect in this industry, so you can protect yourself from evil people who run little shams, like this. Have a good day if you buy a car from here you will have a pleasant surprise of ease, but go to Toyota west for your service, and if you wanna protest, completely, just go to Toyota west.

$200 service fee to be told that they can't figure out why my pistons are making sound before I fix my clutch. The guy who test drove my druck clearly does not know how to drive a manual and made my clutch even worse than it was.

Charged shop supplies disposal for just for the diagnosis. Cashier said its the shop supplies disposal and when asked what did you dispose off when its just the diagnostic. Referred to service advisor who said cant take it off because they used diagnostic machine while doing diagnosis. Should not diagnosis fee cover using their machine to diagnose the car. $169 diagnostics plus tax turned out to be 181 plus tax. Very rude customer service too. Service advisor using sentence like “ you are not going to save anything if you do it outside”. Can be much much better for the brand like Toyota.

They tried to scam me out of $7 500 they said that my engine was leaking oil. I did my oil change over at Toyota service on Dublin Rd. Then I noticed it was licking oil so they said it was the engine the valves are not closing. So I took my car to Tuffy Tire & Auto Service and they said that the oil filter was not closed all the way and there was oil smidge on the top of the engine. So they closed the filter and my car good ever since. One year later I don't have any oil licking. The Tuffy service did all that for free.
