Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than Expected

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detected that the engine's idle speed is significantly lower than the target RPM programmed into the computer. This typically occurs when the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve or electronic throttle body cannot bypass enough air to maintain the desired idle speed.

What to check before replacing parts
