Way over priced. Kinda rude and don't really explain nothing too you. $360 for having A wheel bearing replaced is ridiculous and honestly doesn't make sense cause 3/4 of the job was already done before hand. Also dropped it off in the morning at 9 and didn't hear back till 4:30 and the appointment was made 2 weeks ago.

These guys are really great... They have been in business for 45 years or so. I have been to many shops to get my car fixed. I was going to one of those big chain shops and they were charging me a lot more for less quality work. With Perry's they give you an honest, upfront quote and the work is better than I have expected. My bumper was a bit pulled to the side for years and I have brought it to many places to have work done and no one mentioned they could or would fix it. I brought my car for an oil change for the first time and they were like, oh we noticed your bumper was a bit off so we fixed it. Plus, they didn't charge me a dime for it. These are a great bunch of guys.

My car overheated to the point of damaging the engine and we ended up taking it to Ron and his brother. They did good work. They ended up finding us a decently priced low mileage engine. They recommended a company that provides financial assistance in Auto repair. We were able to qualify for a $1,000 credit limit. which helped us out greatly. But at 29% we were making sure to pay it off quickly. It allowed us up to six months interest-free so as long as it was paid off in that time no big deal. One issue was there was some confusion about when the work would start. What needed to be paid up front etc. But they worked it out we got everyone on the same page and they did do great work. If I lived in Waverly I would take my vehicle to them regularly. They ended up getting my work because the vehicle broke down in Waverly and I was 5 minutes from Ron's garage and could not afford to have it towed back to Elmira where I lived. So I was very happy that they were a reputable mechanic shop and did do good work. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic and when you find one. You're best off holding on to them. I would definitely recommend Ron Perry's garage. They are honest guys and will do good work for you. The only complaint that I have which is a minor detail. Because I'm a stickler for cleanliness. it would have been nice if they could have cleaned up under the hood just a little bit. But it had nothing to do with their work or their quality. Just a personal preference on my part. But I have nothing negative to say about their work only positive. They did excellent work and I would take it back to them if I didn't already have my own mechanic in Elmira. But when it comes to the engine that they worked on I would always take it back to them for any warranty work. I definitely trust them to do good work at a fair price. If you're looking for a good mechanic in the Waverly area. I don't think you could do better then Ron Perry's garage. No I did not get paid to say good things about them LOL. They earned this positive review.

My wife brought her car in for a NYS inspection, they said she needed to fix the broken back wiper in order to pass.. You do NOT need a working back wiper to pass inspection... Then, after fixing the back wiper they refused to put an inspection sticker on it saying it wasn't working when they did the inspection. They are the reason so many ppl don't trust garages, these guys scammed my wife and still didn't do what they were supposed to.

Awesome service, friendly staff. Ron Sr. and his son Ron Jr have always taken excellent care with my vehicles, very honest, trustworthy with good pricing. They never push or pressure you into any unnecessary repairs. Highly recommend for all vehicle repair/ maintenence needs.
