Spencer Auto Supply & Hardware

My father in-law and me dropped off my 2015 subaru impreza sedan today Tuesday 6/2/26. I was experiencing brake issues on the way home from work yesterday. When I got home me and my wife noticed brake fluid coming out under the car by the back drivers side area. My father-in-law suggested bringing it down to Spencer auto supply and hardware so I didn't have tow it to Ithaca since I live in Spencer. It was a short drive with my four ways with just enough brakes to stop some. He said he had some work done there before and that they are honest and reasonably priced. So we brought it down there. They said there was 10 cars ahead of us and they will try to get it done today. They finished it today and found I needed some extra work done and my father-in-law had them proceed with the work. They where able to finish the work today even with a lot of cars ahead of us. The cost of the parts and labor was very reasonably priced and when I drove home the car did not exhibit the same problems it did a day before and it felt like a safe car to drive in again. I'm thankful that Spencer Auto was able to complete it today so I do not have to take another day off from work. Thank you again Spencer auto and hardware. You have just earned the trust of another customer.

I was in the area from out of town and my brakes went on me. They got my car fixed very quickly considering the circumstances and charged me a very reasonable price. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant. I would not hesitate to return here.

I called this place up because I needed brake pads in a hurry and it was the end of the day. The owner waited for me to get down there to buy them and I ended up ordering a transmission filter kit while I paid for the brake pads, to be picked up the very next morning. Great service, friendly service... I think I might just have them DO the work next time, I'm sure the quality matches the personality. Keep it up the good work, great job. 5 Stars!

Great little local hardware store. Intelligent workers that know what they are talking about. Slightly variable hours with it being such a tiny town. The right door is the hardware store, the left side is the auto repair.
