Schroon Lake Beach

There are places you visit, and then there are places you experience. Schroon Lake Beach was one of those places that quietly leaves an impression long after you’ve gone. What stood out most was how peaceful and welcoming everything felt. Even with families enjoying the water and people relaxing along the shoreline, the beach never felt crowded or overwhelming. It had a relaxed, community feel that made the experience even more enjoyable. The beach itself is beautifully maintained with soft sand and exceptionally clear water. The gradual entry into the lake makes it enjoyable whether you want to swim, float, or simply stand at the edge and take in the scenery. There is plenty of space to spread out, sit back, and enjoy the surroundings without feeling packed in. One of my favorite moments was simply sitting by the shore and watching the sunlight dance across the water while the Adirondack mountains stood quietly in the distance. It was one of those rare places where time seems to slow down and you forget to check your phone. What makes Schroon Lake Beach special isn’t flashy attractions or endless activities - it’s the feeling it gives you. It’s peaceful, scenic, and refreshingly simple. The kind of destination that reminds you how enjoyable it is to disconnect for a few hours and just enjoy nature. If you’re visiting the area, don’t rush through this place. Bring a towel, stay a little longer than planned, and take time to appreciate the quiet beauty around you. This place is amazing!! The scenery is unbelievable beautiful!! The beach is clean and people are great at keeping their distance. The restaurants are close by. The facilities are there but needs a good clean. The small playground are great for families with small kids. Easy to get to since the parking is right by the beach.

Our grandkids loved swimming in Schroon Lake . They loved the waves made from the passing boats. The water was clear and beach area was well maintained. It was also very pretty .

We visited Schroon lake Mid January 2025. This was the first time I saw entire lake frozen!! The temperature was around -7C.. and on average the temperature was dropping to -14/-15C. There was plenty of parking available. We saw people camping around. We also witnessed folks doing Ice-Fishing. It was fun to walk on frozen lake.

We went to the 4th of July celebration this year and it was awesome. The area is very nice
