Two great experiences here. The first was for a NYS inspection, which unfortunately required replacing the rear brakes to pass. They were upfront and honest about the need, the reason, and the price. They took care of the brakes the same day and got me out on time with a passed inspection. More recently I went in because my headlight went out and required significant disassembly to access. They changed out both headlights for an outstanding price, and again had the vehicle for just a few hours. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. The workers are respectful to customers and each other, informative without condescending, very knowledgeable, and super efficient. I plan to make this my regular shop after moving away from my previous “go to” place.

The owner Matt and tech John really helped us out! We were traveling to Vermont and hit something on the road.. They took our car even though they were closing shop! We were on our way within the hour, not only that but the service was immaculate. Thankfully we were able to continue our travels safely. (ps my mom loved the car:)

Originally I had a scheduled oil change today but when I went to turn on my vehicle to drive over, I was met with flashing lights and warnings on my dashboard citing “Check Transmission” - eeek! Matt went above and beyond to get me the right help! He prioritized checking the warning codes because I had an extended warranty on my vehicle, provided specific translations of those codes, his recommendation to get a new transmission (if covered under my warranty) at Subaru Romeo dealership and even went as far as texting me a picture of the codes and his cell number in case anyone at Romeo wanted to chat with him! WOW! He didn’t even charge me for the inspection. Monroe in Saratoga Springs continues to earn my business for not only oil changes but they also did same day brake replacements for me earlier last year! They have my loyalty and I would strongly recommend them for locals and beyond! 😊

Great experience at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Specially the guy at the front desk he was so kind and helpful. Service was quick, prices were fair, and everything was clearly explained. I felt confident my car was in good hands and will definitely return.

Completely wasted our time. Our break line broke on Wednesday. Called ahead before getting it towed and they said no problem. Called on Thursday morning, they said that it should be done same day. Thursday afternoon my husband calls to check and see how the repair is going. Turns out the entire staff walked out and no one told us. Not their fault, but when we asked if we needed to move to another garage they said they’d figure out if they had a tech coming the next day. Called more to try to get a follow up, no one answers or knows what’s going on. My husband drove there to talk in person. We spent 150 getting the car there and we need to figure out if it needs to move again. The manager says he thinks he has a tech for the next morning and he’ll know by 7:30. My husband calls around 9 today and gets major attitude from the manager and is told “I told you we don’t have anyone”. No communication from the shop that we didn’t initiate. They couldn’t help the situation, but communication was crap. Now we’re spending $50 to move it two store fronts down. No compensation for the tow fees, just poor attitude from the manager and some poor kid named Alex who isn’t getting the information he needs to give accurate information to customers. They also said they have no one who can do state inspections, which seems insane to me. Avoid the hassle and go somewhere else.
