Taylor Rental Saranac Lake

I brought my commercial pressure washer to this shop 7 months ago for repair. After waiting several months, I was told they could not locate the pump needed. I was then instructed by the shop to purchase a specific make and model pump, which they said they would install. I ordered the exact pump they provided. After all this time, I was then told that the machine cannot be fixed using that pump after all. Because of the prolonged delay, the warranty has now expired, through no fault of my own. Seven months later, I’m left with an unrepaired machine, money spent on parts they recommended, and a voided warranty. This experience reflects poor communication, misdiagnosis, and unacceptable turnaround time, especially for commercial equipment. I would not recommend this shop if you need timely, reliable repairs.

Guys at the service desk were great. Helped me with everything I needed and answered every question and comcern I had regarding my rental. The gentleman that helped me load up out in the yard was very helpful as well.

DO NOT rent from this company if you are having a wedding. I asked them to bring the rentals by 11AM on my wedding day so we could have time to set up before my 5:30PM wedding, and long story short, they got there DURING my ceremony. I only had an arch for my ceremony and the small amount of decor that I brought. All my guests had to stand because I didn't have chairs. Thank god I had the ceremony with a beautiful view because if I hadn't, it would've been completely ruined. My reception was supposed to be at 7 and it didn't start until around 9. All my food was cold and dry because it sat around for 2 hours as the tent was being set up. My guests literally had to help me decorate the reception space before dinner, which they obviously shouldn't have had to do. I meticulously planned this day and it should've went smoothly and been completely stress free. But instead, my parents had to run around all day to try to fix their mistake. I only got two photos with my mom because she had to spend the entire day trying to hunt them down and decorate last minute. No bride should look back on their wedding day and have regrets. Unfortunately, this experience with Taylor Rental ruined 2/3 of my vision as well as my guests' experience, and I completely regret ever hiring them. Please avoid this company!

If you want to rent equipment which doesn't even start and then receive zero customer service because they are closed, this is the place for you. Hanging a tag on a piece of equipment that says "ready to rent" doesn't make it so, when you pick it up by the shop, find the battery terminals not even tightened down, check with your own meters and find the battery fully charged, and yet it barely turns over. Obviously it was in the middle of an incomplete repair when rented to me, and then they closed and there was no alternate number to call, nothing. Just a dead piece of equipment, a wasted weekend, and a blown schedule.

Needed a bar and chain for my saw. Both were in stocks and at reasonable prices. The service man took time and put both on. 1/12/23 Both belts on my new snowthrower came off and got tangled together, one of which got gouged. They took it in and informed me. Do to the amount of machines that just came in it would be looked at by, first come first served. Far enough. It took longer then I thought it would take, but I don't know how many were before me. I picked it up today it's working again, and price for the parts and labor was reasonable.
