Firestone Complete Auto Care

Came in at 6 P.M in the evening for a nail that punctured my rear tire. They patched the tire successfully but they performed a “complimentary” battery test and told me the battery is at half capacity. I didn’t appreciate the mechanic looking in places I did not authorize since I had the battery tested a month ago and it’s healthy. They also recommended a brake fluid flush and wheel alignment even though I had an alignment done last summer and my brake fluid is clear yellow. I understand it was the end of the day and they have to hit a sales quota but if the service is truly “complimentary” they need to inform me first.

We needed a new alternator, battery and the car had a leaking gasket value cover. My car literally broke down because of a leaky gasket that ruined my alternator thus, not charging my battery. We didn’t know about the leak. My husband found himself on the side of the road with a dead car while we were away for the Memorial Day weekend. What’s most incredible is that Firestone took our towed car on the Sunday of that weekend!! Ordered the parts needed to fix our car and gave it back to us in time to go home on Monday evening, Memorial Day!! They worked through Memorial Day!! They saved us so much heartache. These guys are amazing!! I can’t say enough. We were so discouraged by some places we called (I get it, it was Memorial Day weekend) which is what makes these guys at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Riverhead that much more amazing!! Thank you Firestone. We appreciate you so much!!

Anthony and team were great at Firestone in Riverhead. I was in and out for an oil change. Team made me aware of a concern with my rear struts that I made plans to address immediately. Thank you for the great Customer Service!

Anthony was great. He kept me informed of the progress of the work being done. Was polite and personable. When I got there for my appointment, the place was packed. I was flexible and had other things to do so offered to come back later. It worked out perfect. Anthony had me return in an hour and they were able to bring me right in. Love my tires! My Jeep is very happy after new tires and a much needed oil change. I'll be back in the near future for rear brakes. My son uses this Firestone location for his fleet of business trucks. They always do right by both of us.

This is not a review of a service I purchased, but rather a note of appreciation. I had a nail in my tire about four days ago and went to another shop to have it removed. On my way to work today, my tire pressure indicator came on. I wasn’t sure which tire was causing the issue, so I stopped at Firestone in Riverhead to have it checked. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. Since I did not know which tire was triggering the alert, he kindly offered to put air in all of them free of charge and suggested that I drive for a day or two to see whether the indicator remained on. Another gentleman helped check the tire pressures and found that the tire that previously had the nail actually had too much pressure—likely due to the work done at the other shop. I am genuinely grateful to the staff at Firestone for taking the time to look at my tires and assist me. I will definitely return for future services and will gladly recommend this location to my friends and colleagues.
