Ward's Lumber

This was my first visit and I found the staff friendly and ready to help. The thing that stood out the most to me was the cleanliness and detailed organization. I've been in many hardware stores over the years and I have never seen one so prestine and beautifully merchandised. The store is welcoming, easy to shop and has a knowledgeable staff.

Great job! It's nice to have our screen door back! We took a VERY OLD wooden screen insert to our VERY OLD wooden screen door (you can't get these like this anymore.) I ok'ed replacement pieces if they had to, afraid the wood was so old it would break being dismantled for repair. They didn't have to replace anything! All still original wood! And a new screen to boot! Great job! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

this particular business has been Very good to me over the years. their prices are Fair,and they have also Helped with some of the Charity work we have done over the years,which they didnt have to do. even their younger employees are respectful and eager to help,which is Refreshing in this day n age. i would Highly Recommend this store to everyone.

It's the way a lumber yard / hardware store should be: helpful staff always greets you & helps you find your doodad. And they seem to have more products that you really need than a giant big box store, where you could lose half a day hunting for that doodad. I look here first! And the prices are reasonable.

Ward's is really convenient and has great customer service. I showed up today right at closing and the lights were already off. Brian turned them back on and let me get the part I needed to fix my sink. It saved me an hour of driving to Canandaigua for the part. That's one of the reasons I like supporting locally owned businesses like this one.
