This review should have been done last year. Better late than never. Stofa's did body work on my car after a kid side swipped me and did some significant mechanical repairs on my 2008 CTS. They have a great staff who are very professional, honest and friendly. Explained everything thoroughly and beat other estimates I received for both body work and engine repairs. I highly recommend Stofa's for all your automotive repair needs!

I brought my car in hoping for a straightforward diagnosis and fair repair. The initial issue was an auxiliary battery problem, but it turned into many hours of trial-and-error that quickly drove up labor costs. After the lengthy investigation, no definitive solution was provided. Instead, I was advised to replace the actuation module at a cost of $1,500, with no certainty it would resolve the issue. In the meantime, I was also charged $135 for a new auxiliary battery, which may not have even been necessary. What made the experience more frustrating was the lack of transparency. I was never told that the diagnostic process would be open-ended, and only after the work was completed was I informed that the diagnostic charges had exceeded $500. After negotiation, the total was reduced to just under $400, but the lack of upfront communication was disappointing. Customers deserve clear explanations of potential costs before work begins so they can make informed decisions. In total, I spent over $500 without fixing the problem.
