Mikes Main Street Car Care Center

I am so sorry to have to write this review cause personally I really liked Mike & Izzy. Every year I drive across the country with my van to Long Island as when I get there I get an inspection of my van brakes coolants and before I leave I get an oil change every 3,000 miles! My van has been a champ for 13 years going across country because I take care of my vehicles. I had gone to a Bayport shop for 12 years but my friend had me change o we to his mechanic said he was amazing. I did. It was the biggest mistake of my vans life. In 12 years I never had a problem with the guys in Bayport I should have stayed. My van always was great! Well driving back to Utah it sounded like I was scraping my rotors! I was like no he inspected them must be something caught in there. Well it was 8 at night thru the Indian reservation nothing open so I was forced to drive with whatever was the problem. I got home Friday night and brought the van in asap like I do on Monday and was told I needed a complete brake job by the trusted mechanic I have here in Utah I have been using for 7 years. So an easy $300 or whatever a rear front brake job cost me $1900!!!!!!! Yes total front and back rotors bad boot leaking he said if they really inspected this van they would have told you to do the brakes!!!!! I called Mikes shop and he got back to me after a week and asked for pictures. So last Thursday I sent him pictures, he said he would get back to me, it’s been 8 days. I asked him if Izzy or him worked on the van, he couldn’t remember???? So ask Izzy ? This is what his ad says Customer care: Committed to performing high-quality services at a fair price and exercising reasonable care for customer property Reasonable care for customer Property???? That’s not reasonable that’s neglect!!! I specifically asked to look at brakes! I get a I’m sorry in the first and only contact. So dissatisfied and disappointed in this guy. Maybe you should spend more time at your shop instead of the bars during work hours. Do Not Go Tbere!!!

Mike and Izzy are by far the best auto mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. Their experience and technical knowledge is unmatched, and their customer service, honesty and integrity is unparalleled. They are truly a pleasure to work with and the best pricing around. I highly recommend them with confidence.

Mike is awesome, as is his staff. Very fair, very knowledgeable, and very honest. He fixed the leak in my car and in good time despite how busy he was. Even though he's a good 20 minutes away, we go to his shop now because it's worth the drive.

I was in the area to visit my father in the hospital and got a ticket for having a headlight out. I needed to get it fixed quickly so the ticket could be negated. They were kind enough to squeeze me in on a very busy Saturday morning and charged an extremely reasonable price. Good guys!
