Action Performance Marine

Had work done on my motor here once and bought a outboard motor as well. First maintenance to my 40hp mercury was great. Then not so much. I bought a 125hp outboard mercury! Would not recommend! I spent more money on the work for the motor than the actual motor costs. Make that make sense. The owner( I beleive) also told me to make sure there always oil in the reservoir, meanwhile I get it home open the cowling and what do you know? NO OIL! ITs oil injected BTW! Told me i needed a bilge pump but my bildge pump worked just fine. Wondering if they looked at the boat at all. To top it all off he quoted me a one price over the phone and then decided to up the price by 500$ when it was time to pay. Overall, really bad communication, pricing is off, sketchy people in general, and would recommend not using them.

Pete and Jim were excellent to deal with , they repaired my outboard when 2 other mechanics who worked on it before could not , they did the work quickly , professionally and updated me on the progress. Prices were very reasonable and they even called a week after I picked the boat up just to see that everything was to my liking after taking it out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic . 5 stars !!

Pete is a true professional . He was highly recommended by many people I know for his good name and quality work. when I needed to have my boat engine replaced he worked with me through the stressful situation. We came up with a plan and got back in the water in a sufficient matter of time. Along the way he explained everything in easy terms and what it would cost. I am now a regular customer.!
