RDM Towing & Recovery

I want to sincerely thank Steven at RDM Towing & Recovery for his professionalism and kindness during a very stressful situation. He was clear about expectations from the moment we spoke, and he handled everything with patience, honesty, and respect. My mother and I were on our way to a wake, and Steven was incredibly flexible and understanding of our circumstances. He made sure we could retrieve the vehicle without adding more stress to an already emotional day. His communication was excellent, and he treated us with genuine care. I also want to acknowledge that Steven is often put in a difficult position with the towing calls coming from the 66 Croton Avenue apartments. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t a proper protocol in place on the property’s management side, which results in cars being towed that actually belong there. Despite being caught in the middle of these issues, Steven remains professional and considerate. Thank you, Steven, for your patience, your flexibility, and your compassion. You turned a frustrating situation into a manageable one, and that means a lot.

I had an accident in NYC and needed a towing company near an auto repair shop in Putnam County that was 100 miles round trip. An RDM flatbed picked up my car in NYC and towed my disabled car to the repair shop in Putnam County. I was given a flat rate amount I thought was reasonable for the distance traveled. The RDM driver was professional and in my opinion secured my car on the flatbed truck satisfactory. I needed RDM to tow a car that was low to the ground. The driver used ramps that attached to the flatbed so my low sitting cars front bumper did not get damaged while being loaded onto the flatbed truck. I will continue to use RDM when needed.

I only wish negative stars were an option here. RDM was for a tow from my insurance company, that request was acknowledged and replied with an ETA time of 90 minutes which was 9:24 am. No show at 10 am call RDM and the most miserable unprofessional human answers the phone with out identifying his name or company just answered with a "yeah" then he goes on to state he received notification 15 minutes ago and his "guy" left 10 minutes ago for a 25-30 minute ride. One hour and 15 minutes go by still no show so I call the same miserable human who states what my "guy" hasn't arrived yet I will call "him" and call you back. 10 minutes later I get a text from the miserable human stating his "guy" was not answering him but was sure he was on his way. Tired of the Shenigans after waiting roadside for nearly 4 hours I cancel the tow and callED D&K towing who is reputable. Now the miserable human text me, "I will hope in the truck and come get you personally." I tell miserable human to kick rocks don't come via text 3 times with no response. I then immediately call him 3 times and get pushed to voice mail. Miserable human shows up minutes before DK and takes a picture of my license plate to try to get paid, I mean how pathetic are you. I guess this is what to expect when you run a business out of your house. If you need a tow save yourself a world of problems and call D & K Towing and Recovery stony point. I wonder where his "guy" is.

Scammers. They had my cousin's car for less than 2 hours. The cost $300 cash no receipt. If I want a receipt, I have to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow was an additional $300 plus additional fees. The boss gives them the liberty to decide "IF" they want to release the car right away. So his professional way of him thinking he's doing soneone a favor. The bogus breakdown of the price, comical. Someone needs to shut this place down. In response to his unprofessional reply...I dont need to mention the car was parked illegal. I have no PROBLEM paying. I totally believe in consequences. The problem I have is you not being able to give me a receipt and you pretending as you did a favor, you demanding cash. Your lack of professional and you are a liar. And reminderMY MOTHER'S CAR WAS NOT ILLEGALLY PARKED AND WAS TOWED FOR INCOMPETENCE. You then proceeded to make a reason after you found out there in fact was a handicap sticker and the problem was comprehension.
